prayforsnow Posted 12 August 2011 Posted 12 August 2011 Q. I have my ticket stub from the Coventry City fixture and wish to redeem my free drink, how do I do this? A. If you attended the opening day fixture at Coventry City, simply bring your Coventry ticket to the 1884 Sports Bar or concourse bars within King Power Stadium between 12-2pm and exchange the ticket stub for either a Singha Beer or soft drink. Unfortunately, your ticket stub cannot be redeemed on concession stands but it can be redeemed in the South Stand concourse which will be open as part of the Foxes Fan Village until 1.30pm. Linky Is it just me!?! I sit in L1 so where exactly can I get my free beer?
Fox92 Posted 12 August 2011 Posted 12 August 2011 I thought it was all around the ground. You get a free drink, walk around the stadium to where you actually sit. Because you are tired from walking that distance, you buy another drink.

prayforsnow Posted 12 August 2011 Author Posted 12 August 2011 Pointless thread, it says that the south stand it open for anyone until 1:30pm. It also says that I can get one from anywhere in the ground from 12-2pm but then says I can't get from concession stands which I assume are other bars within the ground and to get it from the south stand. So which is it? Apologies for the pointless thread...but I'd rather not turn up at 1.30 if I can turn up at 2. Oh and chillout

prayforsnow Posted 12 August 2011 Author Posted 12 August 2011 The way I read it was that you can get it anywhere inside the ground between 12 and 2 at the bars but not outside from the mobile stands Oh right, I didn't realise they sold beer at stands outside the ground. I didn't spot any at the Madrid game, hence I thought concession stands meant bars in the ground. That explains it then. Thanks
Rich Fox Posted 12 August 2011 Posted 12 August 2011 I managed to pick up 27 ticket stubbs from the ricoh arena so will get totally shit faced in the fans village.

Unabomber Posted 12 August 2011 Posted 12 August 2011 Just one question, if I go to a concourse in the kop at 1:55pm can I exchange my stub for a bottle of beer?
Unabomber Posted 12 August 2011 Posted 12 August 2011 nice, well we shall find out tomorrow. I mean it's great business by them and fair play. Sure it will mean I will buy another beer after, but tbh I would've bought one anyway so it is still a free beer. Top
