    • Until the end of the season dispite where we are then just not offer him a contract renewal
      52
    • If we dont go up still offer him a new contract and give him another chance next season

    • This is a stupid poll and a result of knee-jerkism

Then make your point clear... how old are you by the way?

are you serious? you put words such as IS and EXACTLY in capitals to make your points clear, thats when your not busy on here creating pointless repetitive threads or making stupid remarks on comments you dont understand and im 26 btw not that age defines how smart you are if thats what your crappy POINT is this time

I'm surprised..you sound about 14 with your choice use of language and general hostility. Go and annoy someone else

lol this thread is hilarious. to be fair the OP was simply asking for peoples opinions on how long he will get. he's not waving the sven out banner, although this sort of thread is a slippery slope before the madness.

obviously its premature and unnecessary, but don't get all stressed out about it. we are going to win the league anyway.

(and why have 24 people voted for "Until the end of the season dispite where we are then just not offer him a contract renewal"? i literally cant work out what it means.)

Im just 1 of many thats getting a little tired or your comments you never seem to add anything to these threads other cocky pointless remarks rather than anything friendly or constructive, why not instead of insulting other peoples comments and commenting on there age you take some time out and look at some of your own points on here and maybe you might see you can seem quite childish and annoying yourself

Two games lol and now after 1 defeat your saying how long should sven be given lol Reading are a good team, this season will be harder than it would have been last season. We are not going to 'walk' the league so you will see some defeats and draws lol

mmm...just two of my posts today:

From what I've seen of kasper I love him already. He seems very self confident, much like his dad, and I hope he is able to sort out mills and his nervy start.

I watched city through the bulk of the Brian little and MON years.... City have never emulated these years since, with the possible exception of some good times under Micky Adams... None of this was about spending vast sums of money on players or having wealthy owners. Instead it was about managers having tactical acumen and signing the correct players to play in the correct positions

Finally it was about being able to generate fantastic team spirits, particularly under Brian little actually..

And the response:

Brilliant post. Spot on. Money can only get you so far. You need a good manager putting players in the right positions, team spirit and a bit of luck.

When I listen to an away game on my own they always win. When my family also listen they often lose. Very strange.

Are these negative or annoying?

Maybe its cos you dont agree with what I'm saying... I dont always agree with you... this is a forum right?

no I would like to also congratulate you on those fantastic posts I do agree with you on those posts, but I find some of your comments annoying aswell like these:

Now that IS ridiculous - are you really likening Sven to Sir Alex?

Then make your point clear... how old are you by the way?

what annoys me with you is you sometimes you miss the point and are then abit hypocritical because you're not brilliant at making points youself, here is a link to your thread the other day which needed closing:

just cant help but feel a little bit of frustration sometimes when you make these posts

no buddy I aint Nicks mate just your reply was annoying because you said my post was ridiculous and that I was comparing sven to ferguson so you completely missed the point, I dunno maybe you didnt realise it took him years to build a half decent team and was almost sacked for not turning the club around quick enough? anyways dont take it personally I dont think your a knobhead you dont make some decent posts too just think 1 or 2 could be better!!

no worries mate... some of my posts might not be good..only human aint we..have you seen my 'Richie Wellens one'..claiming that he was playing in a team with other players who werent even around at the time! fook me I'll get hammered.. :sweating:

We all love sven but at the end of the day we need promotion! Im sure theres a good chance he can turn it around but what do we do if he cant?

As long as he needs and as long as he likes. There's quite enough people out of work as it is and we've had so many managers in recent years it's nice to actually get to know one of them

Besides it would only mean another "all change" with the playing personnel if he went and, if we're not careful, we'll have signed everyone once and will only have to start signing them all over again.

We've never had a manager that's won as many things as Sven so it doesn't matter how long it takes cos we know from his record that he'll get it right in the end cos "In Sven We Trust", you should know that..

He's also quietly spoken, not like that brash ex-docker from London who caused such an unseemly upset even in the sedate Cotswold town of Cheltenham. Our owners are Proper Persons and Sven is a managerial Proper Person. When you get to the Top these things matter!.

If you're going to have a bronze statue outside reception it needs to be a proper person not some eccentric famous for stopping players from using the car park. It's not as if they drive Reliant threewheelers.

Seriously, Leicester can do well this season. There's still 44 games left and we're already better placed than this time last season under Soussa. If we win all our home games and draw the away games that should do it. It's just a case of getting the message over to the players and someone's printing one out as we speak.

I'm so sick and tired of this manager firing culture. What is this obsession with instant success? So tired of seeing managers fired, not everyone can win all the time, we are no more special than any of the other clubs in this league, we donkt have any sort of right to go up just because we have a big name manager and new money. If we donkt go up this season we just have to believe in our manager, love our club and hope we can do it next time. Firing managers achieves nothing.

I agree with your sentiments but the Thais at the end of the day want promotion, and they will sack Sven if he fails to achieve this, this season

Would you have stuck with Sousa then? Genuine question...

i agree. even if we dont get promotion i would keep sven on. he should only be sacked if he does something drastically wrong like get us relegated or close to it. to sack is whack. I would like to see a bit of consistency.

honestly, i dont know. i didn't want to see him sacked so soon. i didnt like the idea of us sacking yet another manager in such a short space of time and i suppose think he deserved to get a longer shot at things so no i probably wouldn't have sacked him. although i'm not somebody who has invested millions of pounds into the club. if i was then i may have acted quite differently.

I am however glad we bought sven in.

Fair enough... At least you're honest about it and gave a good rationale.. I personally would have got rid of Sousa.. The football we played with him was gash...

I wouldn't get rid of Sven yet.. Although the football we played on sat was also gash.

I hope we win on weds cos if not the vultures will be circling...

The man needs time with his squad to get it right. Simple as that

the majority of the football we played may have been gash, but that seemed to be down to a succession of cock ups and sloppyness which seemed to get the better of our lads and left them frustrated. I think we have played some lovely stuff under sven when you look back on his reign. we came out better second half, but it wasn't our day. i still think the game could have gone either way really, but sven was right to be disappointed with our performance in general.

i dont think that the thais will seriously thin about sacking him if we fail to win on wednesday. its only the third game of the season and the 4th if you count the cup game (which would give us 2 wins out of 4, you can thank me later for this mathmatics masterclass  )

they would have to be mental to put his job under pressure after 3 games. im pretty sure they wont need to as sven knows what has to happen. they have their eyes firmly fixed on getting to the PL at any cost.
