Does anyone else think this stinks like Svens time with England?

Seriously name a previous Leicester manager that has won anything (cup wise) before coming to city, get yourselves in line, we are so lucky to have a manager of the calibre of Sven, he's worlds class, which has been proved by greater minds than ours picking him for their team over the last 20 years.

This is typical Leicester, all our fans like doing is moaning, and it's killed bigger clubs than ours, what player in their right mind would want to come to us now after seeing us get booed off yesterday, most noise you made all game, kills me, i don't know why people do it we played ok, not brilliant but looked to me like they're just trying to get used to each other.

There is no positives to come out of booing at full time (que "it's are right we pay the wages" blah blah etc) do you think sven thinks 1-2 at home is a good result and your boo's enlighten him that we should do better, all it does is separates the players and the fans and makes them feel shitter than they already do.

Encouragement is the key, stick with the team, manager, club as a whole. We were in L1 two years ago remember, all of a sudden we're premier league ready, i don't think so, this will take time.

Keep the faith - in Sven we trust.

Why are we "so lucky"?? Is it in the same way Mexico, Man City and Notts County were "so lucky"? Maybe Man City will be lucky enough to take him back, maybe we could offer a swop?

We tossed out a manager who finished 5th in this division with very little to spend?? Martin O Neill had won nothing before coming here, he had an impeccable record of getting sides promoted though beforehand.

Can you tell me what relevence the 1988 campaign with Benfica has to us trying to get out of the championship now?

Sven the 3rd most succesful England manager ever in terms of major tournements and who you from 21st to 9th. Not his faut you're so bad at Penalties because if you'd won one you'd of been in a European sem--final and he would of been classed as one of the greats.

Or if he has tried to win the match V Portugal we might of been in the semis.

Or the next time where we should probably have tried to attack 10 man Brazil. Or maybe he shouldnt of played Scholes on the left wing.

Ask a mancity or notts county fan their opinion of sven, gaurantee they rated him. Look at man city players brought in by sven and thier difference in performance / result while he was manager, he stopped the rot.

Ok i'll put it another way, clubs attract good players by having good managers and money, god bless NP but he has no where near the pull sven has, the players he's been in talks with and signed have been awesome, do you actually think Yakubu would have played for us under NP or PS.

You can't have NP back and and MON would never come back, imo mainly because of fair weather fans like yourself, who back them while they win and slate them after we slip up, honestley attitudes like yours kills clubs, ask a shef wed fan.

just get behind him and the team, there is no way we could have a better manager at this level and you'll be begging him to stay come end of next season.

Man City fan I work with didnt, glad to see him gone, enjoying it now. Certainly wouldnt want him back. Dont know how Notts County could rate him? He wasnt even manager?

Nope, Nigel Pearson doesnt have the same pull as Sven, neither did Neil Warnock, Paul Lambert or Brenden Rogers, all three of them got a side promoted last season without needing the "big names" you all seem to so desperately crave.

Fair weather fan? 15 year season ticket and 10-12 away games a year? I'm not even going to dignify that with an answer.

Why will I be begging him to stay, I have never and will never beg a manager to stay, no one person is bigger than LCFC.

This is when sven took them to 6th after fighting off relegation the season before.

Quote from Wiki -

"In Spring 2008 Shinawatra claimed that he would replace Eriksson after only one full season, because of an "avalanche of very poor results which is unacceptable at this level". This resulted in an outcry from Manchester City fans who coordinated an SOS ("Save Our Sven") campaign (similar to the Official England Fan's campaign in the spring of 2006) including a well attended march from the City centre to Eastlands stadium and a flood of letters to the club and the Manchester Evening News. The failure to react to public and fan demands resulted in high volume of fans cancelling or not renewing their season tickets. Also, the team announced that they would go on strike. Eriksson rejected any interference and also persuaded his players against potentially damaging their careers by an all out strike"

:sge: - smug :)

It seems that relegation to League 1 did nothing to make City fans more humble.

"Oooh, Sven is shit because he didn't win the world cup"

"The Golden Generation" (bollocks)

Think for yourselves instead of being influenced by the shit that The Sun churns out.

Doesnt matter how shit we are, people still think it. :crylaugh:

Though at that time that was the best chance ever, worst stage of international football ever, if Greece could win a major tourny and Senegal and Turkey get to World Cup semi's we should of been able to.

And the reason we didn't is because Sol Campbell's goal was wrongly disallowed, and English players are shit at penalties (nothing new, not Sven's fault).
