nothin2seehere Posted 22 August 2011 Posted 22 August 2011 I couldn't see this posted anywhere and it seems to be fresh news. Sky sports link: http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11095_7118506,00.html?
Jaspa Posted 22 August 2011 Posted 22 August 2011 I put this in the Kasper thread earlier, and only a couple seemed to give a f*** I don't see the point, unless Weale got his arse kicked by Mills. Or we want the Ref held up for it.
marko Posted 22 August 2011 Posted 22 August 2011 You just wait, he'll be given an extra game for a frivolous appeal and we'll have Weale between the sticks on Saturday.
Dicko Posted 22 August 2011 Posted 22 August 2011 I didn't think you could appeal if you get sent off for two yellow cards?
gazfox9 Posted 22 August 2011 Posted 22 August 2011 I didn't think you could appeal if you get sent off for two yellow cards? Me too?
nothin2seehere Posted 22 August 2011 Author Posted 22 August 2011 I put this in the Kasper thread earlier, and only a couple seemed to give a f*** I don't see the point, unless Weale got his arse kicked by Mills. Or we want the Ref held up for it. Sorry bud, didn't see it, and I've read at least 100 pages of drivel so far If we only appealed today, what are the chances the FA will actually be able to do something about it before K.O tomorrow?
LCFC_FAN_1995 Posted 22 August 2011 Posted 22 August 2011 What's the point of appealing. He will only miss Bury match, Put Adam Smith in goal with Weale on the bench
Head Honcho Posted 22 August 2011 Posted 22 August 2011 I didn't think you could appeal if you get sent off for two yellow cards? Maybe they've appealed the fact that Kasper was not made aware of his first card. Would rather we just got on with it.
Jaspa Posted 22 August 2011 Posted 22 August 2011 I think this could be about getting a club officials sat in the same room as the ref and ask some questions. As for the Kasper situation, I think he could be let off. The ref has to make sure they know that their booked . . . And he didn't. Well done to the club for showing we've got balls . . . Big ones
Mack Posted 22 August 2011 Posted 22 August 2011 You cant appeal yellows. They could only appeal that the first card was not issued clearly.
boring_jester Posted 22 August 2011 Posted 22 August 2011 i still thought that because it was our kick off after the penelty we didnt have to hand the ball over. ???
CupidStunt Posted 22 August 2011 Posted 22 August 2011 I do think it would make all fans more happy, if the refs report was made public to a certain extent, and their key decisions explained
Libertine Dream Posted 22 August 2011 Posted 22 August 2011 It could matter if he gets sent off again because then he'll get 2 games/4 whereas if this gets quashed that one will only be 1/3 games depending on straight red or two yellows
Rocky Dennis Posted 22 August 2011 Posted 22 August 2011 I think it is fair to assume that as the club ARE appealing then they CAN appeal.
steveLCFCfan Posted 22 August 2011 Posted 22 August 2011 I dont think appealing will do any good as Svan has said but as long as Kasper is inbetween the sticks on Saturday for my first City game in around 8 years I am happy! Steve
Madrid_Fox Posted 22 August 2011 Posted 22 August 2011 In my thread entitled 'annoyed letter to the F.A' I have asked the F.A. and the Chairman of the referees' association to confirm whether Kasper had been aware of the first yellow card. I think that is a fairly reasonable request.

I think that is a fairly reasonable request. Oh, we didn't know that because we all live in this thread and don't venture out . . . All that the letter is going to get is a standard 'Thank you for your opinion'. But frankly they don't care, they deal with thousands of angry fans every week, and sod all happens. All we can hope is Mr Moss gets sat in a room with an FA man, a LCFC official and Kasper.
Vlad the Fox Posted 22 August 2011 Posted 22 August 2011 I think they are questioning if the first yellow was administered correctly and if not does it stand.
General Smuts Posted 23 August 2011 Posted 23 August 2011 Oh, we didn't know that because we all live in this thread and don't venture out . . . All we can hope is Mr Moss gets sat in a room with an FA man, a LCFC official and Kasper. I'd rather he was sat in a room with Gadafi, Fritzl, that Norwegian Fella and a firing squad but thats just me.
MrSpaM Posted 23 August 2011 Posted 23 August 2011 Wouldnt Weale have been in goal against Bury anyway? And as far as i remember you cant appeal yellow cards?
LCFC_FAN_1995 Posted 23 August 2011 Posted 23 August 2011 Wouldnt Weale have been in goal against Bury anyway? And as far as i remember you cant appeal yellow cards? Well Kasper was in goal last round against Rotherham so doubt he would.
Yojoe36 Posted 23 August 2011 Posted 23 August 2011 He moved the ball from the penalty spot after McGuagn had placed it - unsporting conduct. That's an automatic yellow card - he must know the rules, and if he didn't, then the home crowd's cheers would have made it very clear. Then he throws the ball away after the goal is scored to waste time. Unsporting conduct. Second yellow. Nothing to bleat about. Move on. Erm...
Yojoe36 Posted 23 August 2011 Posted 23 August 2011 I understand he only misses Bury away. But guys, it's the principle
marbelladave Posted 23 August 2011 Posted 23 August 2011 I understand he only misses Bury away. But guys, it's the principal It's principle...... Unless you are referring to your (old?) headmaster.......
bobbysmith Posted 23 August 2011 Posted 23 August 2011 Wasting time? Now where was he supposed to throw the ball. Into the stands? At the ref? At the moon?
