Austin Posted 26 August 2011 Posted 26 August 2011 Amusing (and deserved) though that would have been, it would also have earned him a six-month ban at the very least. Could this board cope with Chris Weale having a six-month stint as first choice keeper? Id top myself!
Bayfox Posted 26 August 2011 Posted 26 August 2011 There is a video on here somewhere, or try youtube, that is shot by a FWord fan from behind the goal and ball clearly ends up on the halfway line but towards the side of the pitch., but it never leaves the pitch.

Err it's about 10 posts before yours that's why it's being discussed today
Father Ted Posted 26 August 2011 Posted 26 August 2011 This reminds me. On the FL show highlights, did anybody else hear the commentator say: 'And Schmeichel has absolutely hurled the ball straight into the stands!' with massive emphasis on hurled... (he said something along those lines). We will be in for a lot of bad stick this year I feel.
Super_Fox_Boy Posted 26 August 2011 Posted 26 August 2011 He's definately back for 2mo. Thing that still gets me is teams are allowed 30 secs to celebrate before play is due to be restarted after a goal is scored. Its the same time allowance as making a substitution hence the 5 mins at Bury the other night. If u watch the video regardless of the fact Kasper was aiming for the stand and ****ed it up the ball was back on the centre spot waiting to restart well before the end of the clip. It actually wasted more time waiting for Kasper to get off the pitch. The ref was just a moron.
leicesterseddon Posted 26 August 2011 Posted 26 August 2011 I think the BBC commentator said 'he's thumped it into the stands'. When, of course, what he'd actually done is throw it towards the half-way line. But anyway, there you go... Is available for tomorrow I'm pretty sure of that. A silly incident but I'm sure we'll be able to draw a line under it. As it happens his absence of 1 game hasn't really done us any harm so meh.
@mrtonycox Posted 26 August 2011 Posted 26 August 2011 He missed Bury game, back in sticks tomorrow so we move on..
Larry_LCFC Posted 26 August 2011 Posted 26 August 2011 He won't do it again. Why do i have a sneaky feeling you're Kasper <_<
Guest MattP Posted 26 August 2011 Posted 26 August 2011 He won't do it again. he will, he lost his discipline a few times at Leeds.
