Zingari Posted 31 August 2011 Posted 31 August 2011 the most goals i can recall being scored against us was a 7-2 loss against Everton in the late 60s i think it sealed matt gillies's fate as manager can't remember us conceding 8 goals or more since .
panky and our gang Posted 31 August 2011 Posted 31 August 2011 So that makes us better than Arsenal then !
ChrisJager Posted 31 August 2011 Posted 31 August 2011 Some time in the 60s I went to Villa Park and saw us lose 8-3. We had a reasonable team at the time, and Gordon Banks was in goal. I'm pretty certain Derek Dougan was playing for them.
