Gallagher out injured...

Gally started last season slowly too (once he returned from injury) Once he gets one or two goals he seems to kick it up a gear! Love him or hate him he has the ability to smash a 30 harder in the top peg out of nothing!

And I hope your mother dies in a freak yachting accident.

Bit over the top. Surely you're just as bad as them if you're wishing death on there mother. Even if you're joking it's not funny or needed.

Never seen Blackadder then?

It's the way you tell 'em.

It's hard to tell it well over a forum :P

His mrs feel safer having him at home fending off the Percy tweets off Stu Bailey lol

Hopefully gallaghers enforced lay off might make him come back better player be good see Lloyd Dyer get a chance

Another reason I wouldn't start him then. He is inconsistant (hence why Blackburn sold him), lacks pace, lacks commitment and doesn't tackle.

But he didn't lack committment in tackles etc once his form improved last season. I'm putting him down to being a slow starter because what I've seen so far this season is a carbon copy of last season.

only problem is last season we where down the bottom of the table doing nothing. its week in week out consistency that matters

Yes he did. He never tackles or gets stuck in, and it puts the team under pressure. He doesn't even bother to close down players and it does my head in. Obviously I don't wish an injury on any player, but hopefully now we can revert to 4-4-2 or something with Dyer on the right. Gallagher does my head in, I don't rate him at all.

We can't have 'slow starters' if we want to go up. I grant you that every player can have a bad game, even the best such as Messi, but his performances this season have yet again been generally poor. He certainly wouldn't make my starting 11 in this division, never mind the Premier League. No wonder Blackburn sent him out on loan to Plymouth and Stoke etc

disagree with the comittment thing. His whole game improved ten fold around Xmas, though I agree we can't afford slow starters.
