nuttytimmy Posted 11 October 2011 Posted 11 October 2011 abit off topic but didn't feel this question warrants its own thread, does anybody know where this Leicester shirt came from? found it on ebay last night its the 2005-06 home shirt but with the Walkers logo on instead of the Alliance and Leicester, my guess is its a youth team shirt but is quite big and is not being advertised as anything different. ebay link Must be yoof, looking at the font of the number on the back. That, and there's no name. Unless we signed the sponsor deal with A+L late (i.e. after pre-season friendlies), this would be the only explanation. Either that, or whoever's making fakes are really, really bad.

I thought that at first about the sponsorship but from what I remember the last game of the previous season we were away to Argyle and some fans were already wearing this shirt with the Alliance and Leicester logo so I think the shirt was issued before pre season had started. Probably is a youth kit whoever had it must of been a big child as Im 6'2 and XL is too baggy for me

I can confirm this was a Leisure Shirt released 1 summer, it was never our 3rd kit, so the bloke flogging it never did much research at all.
