I probably said this before but I'm fed up with Rob Tanners comment on the players, particular Yuki Abe, today it said "anchored the diamond midfield" everyone else has a Superb, great , dynamic next to their name apart from Abe, it's not the 1st week, it's every week, ok he had some bad games but even with Brighton he had a excellent game and scored the winner, all he said was scored the only goal of the game, we all know he score the only goal, Maybe he doesn't like sushi, I dont know!

It's hardly a negative description but I know what you mean. I think Tanner has the only seat in the ground which faces towards the stand

Tanners a moron, always has been.

Lost any respect for him when he tried to convince us all Bruno Oliveira taught Mourinho everything he knows.

No wonder the Merc's circ is at an all time low.

I think it's probably more to do with the content and price than RT's contrbution..

The standard of journalism has severly slipped across the whole building. It really is a poor read now.

A little like Bill Anderson when Pleatey was here. I used to read the match report then check my ticket if i still had it.

The ticket was right but one of us was at the wrong fvcking game every week.

Am so glad we have sat navs now. Just wish i knew who i watched every week for three odd years

The worst bit was we was always great and I watched a load of shite most weeks.

Am sure they big us up when we are crap cos they think they will get the heads up on a storey.

Abe was great saturday as were the rest great team job done.

None should really be singled out.

Dont read the merc or the mirror the sun is bad enough but i don't think they ever got our score wrong. :scarf: :scarf:

Unless you are a Peter Soulsby supporter, then it would utopia!

The one good thing about the Mercury sports pages, is Alan Youngs' column.

I like A.Y. 'cos he tells it as it is, no asshole creeping from him, unlike Hans Christian Anderson! If he thinks a player has had a stinker he will say so.

I remember he used to slate Yakubu for being lazy.

Also the guy obviously knows what he is talking about, being a former player of quality & a Foxes favourite.

I also think he does a very good job on Radio Leicester, & again he speaks the truth, both on the 'Moan In' & on live commentary.

If your fed up with what tanner writes, why do you read it? some facists on here ,don't like other peoples opinions, call them a moron.....sad..

Why should I have to ignore propaganda that was being forced onto the readers by Mandaric and Tanner when they were contributing to destroyIng my football club at the time?

Posted

Nothing is "forced " on anybody...I don't read any national newspaper..thats my choice..its not compulsory you know...I don't have to ignore them,I choose to..Im sure Rob Tanner would be flattered to here he has the power to destroy a 100 year old institution..Milan has really damaged our club, brokered the deal that brought Top and his dad here... the bastard.

Oh Ffs, Milan took us to our lowest point in 125 years of history. Whatever happens now he can't repair that.

Whatever you think about top (and I'll judge that in ten years rather than ten months) Mandaric would of sold to anyone, we were nothing more than a hooker to him, he was a pimp and he wanted a price.

Tanners bumming of Sousa was designed to distract all attention from the shambolic removal of Pearson.

Some sweeping statements, supported by no facts...your entitled to your opinion.. I suppose if milan had lost a fortune re: sisu at cov, he would be a benevolent "hero" ,stating that milan would sell to anyone doesn't say much for top and his dad...ungrateful....and I didn't realise you had a porthole into the mind of Rob Tanner...very impressive...

What? Of course I have a porthole into his mind, it's called the Leicester Mercury where he gives his thoughts and opinions.

I'd say going to our lowest point is clearly supported by fact.

Unlike you , I never realised Mr. Tanner had or has a secret agena...His drip, drip propaganda is written to bend your mind to his will....so he can gain ultimate control of LCFC...remarkable.. The lowest point in the clubs history?, thats your opinion, I would say going in administration was by far the lowest point in the clubs history...don't you think?

Not really no, we functioned a club and got promoted during that era. As stupid as it sounds we went into admin at the best time possible being able to wipe 6million off HMRC.

Going into League 1 is a stain on 125+ years of history that can never be removed, something that never happened before and will never happen again.

Let's be honest our fans don't really care that much about going into Admin do they? If they did there would be more dissent about the wage bill we have accumulated now. If the Thais did drop this for any reason we would be back in within weeks...

As i said , your entitled to your opinion, to say it was a good time to go belly up ,(as if it was planned) is laughable, short memories, the fact that the bloke you have rubbished was the one to take us on when there weren't many takers appears to mean nothing In your world, there is always a millionaire around the corner, we can later slag off...no doubt administration is always preferable to div 1, for you...I don't agree. I feel no shame at going in div 1, we weren't the first and won't be the last....its part of the great roller coaster of a city supporter...I enjoyed it.

But in years to come no one will give a flying as to whether or not we were in administration at 'some point' nor that we had a season in league one. One thing I will care about though is that we are not on that prestigious list of clubs never to be outside of the top two tiers of the English Football League.

As much as I enjoyed seeing us lift that trophy at the time I would swap it to be back on the "top 2 tiers" list in an instant.

Everton

Liverpool

Arsenal

Spurs

Chelsea

Man Utd

Newcastle

West Ham

....Leicester

In years to come, you and I will be in the happy hunting grounds and past caring...I personally could care less if a 22nd century statto points and laughs, get over it....

i might just start turning up for work at the mercury everyday and telling everyone that rob has quit, because he realised he was a little bit shit. then ill write about my favourite players and what kind of hairstyles they prefer and stuff like that. i will also make them all look really good by giving them glowing reports even if they were shit... just to boost their confidence. then we'll win the league and you will all thank me.

Am with you on this one that list will only ever get shorter.

And as much as i would thank MM for what he has done for us being removed from that list was his fault.

You can't ship that amount of managers in/out and get away with it.

So again i thank MM for our future but he fvcked up our past.

I was in pen 2 when Tony James scored at the end of the day grown men cried.

Don't fvcking tell me that list means nothing

Calling somebody an anchored midfielder isnt a negative comment, i think you've got completely the wrong end of the stick

"A Midfield Anchor is a Center Midfielder playing behind the striker, and at the same time control the centre of the park. A midfield anchor will setup important play from the center"
