Schlupp Posted 5 October 2011 Posted 5 October 2011 Doesn't he have injury problems?Would be a good addition to the sqaud imo.
LCFCMickey Posted 5 October 2011 Posted 5 October 2011 Doesn't he have injury problems? He'll fit right in then
MikeyT Posted 5 October 2011 Posted 5 October 2011 Isnt that the guy from river dance ? Sign him up. With his quick feet no defender in the league will stand a chance.
I am Rod Hull Posted 5 October 2011 Posted 5 October 2011 Sign him up. With his quick feet no defender in the league will stand a chance. Yeah... That`s him...
SMX11 Posted 5 October 2011 Posted 5 October 2011 We don't need any wingers in the current formation.
Libertine Posted 5 October 2011 Posted 5 October 2011 We don't need any wingers in the current formation. Are we not allowed to change it if it's not working?
Schlupp Posted 5 October 2011 Posted 5 October 2011 We don't need any wingers in the current formation. True,But there's nothing wrong with a good rotation system imo.
Kilworthfox Posted 5 October 2011 Posted 5 October 2011 Are we not allowed to change it if it's not working? It looks like it's time to put our "Football Manager" credentials on the table doesn't it!
SMX11 Posted 5 October 2011 Posted 5 October 2011 I understand having wide options for changing the system, but I can't see Sven wanting/needing any new players until January unless we have a severe injury crisis. Sven has been pretty stubborn on formations since he has been manager so I think he will stick with the diamond for pretty much all of the season and I hope he does because it is certainly more effective than that 4-5-1/4-3-3 where the wide players stand on the touch line and never get involved all game.
lestajigs Posted 5 October 2011 Posted 5 October 2011 Isnt that the guy from river dance ? I thought more like knight rider

It doesn't work because we don't have wingers in the winger positions. I don't think he'll go for any loans just yet but clearly the diamond is way too narrow a lot of the time, we need to get in behind defences more in some games.

Suckers = secured Spell check Might want to spell check the guy's name too. It's KIGHTLY.
Fox92 Posted 5 October 2011 Posted 5 October 2011 I'd go for him. Has the quality in this division, and with no quality right winger I think he would be a good addition to the squad.
skinnydipper Posted 5 October 2011 Posted 5 October 2011 No its this guy I was there that day. He juggled the ball from the half way line to the penalty spot and volleyed home in front of the Stretford End ..... and soon thereafter cleared off ending up as chairman at Carlisle. Could have bought the club (man ure) then for peanuts compared to its worth now.

skinnydipper Posted 5 October 2011 Posted 5 October 2011 One of the biggest cock ups of all time.... Too right! Wiki claims he bid £20 million in 1989, bid accepted but deal fell through due to his backers withdrawing. 2005 United sold to Glazers for £790 million

skinnydipper Posted 5 October 2011 Posted 5 October 2011 Except he didn't have a pot to piss in. No he didn't but for just a few seconds he lived the dream.
Len Finsbury Posted 5 October 2011 Posted 5 October 2011 No he didn't but for just a few seconds he lived the dream. That is true. No wonder new ownerships are investigated before anything's announced now.
