Stay Positive Posted 9 October 2011 Posted 9 October 2011 Can't help thinking it couldn't have come at a worse time for us. We had a real gust of momentum going, and now it's been temporarily sidelined, can we get it back?

Corky Posted 9 October 2011 Posted 9 October 2011 It gives players a chance to get back to fitness without missing games such as Wellens, Johnson and Beckford. The players should be full of confidence anyway so a break shouldn't do much harm to that.
Guest Bilo Posted 9 October 2011 Posted 9 October 2011 Confidence must be brimming at the moment, and don't forget every Premiership and Championship club is in the same boat. Plenty of time to get players fit and working together in my opinion.
leicesterseddon Posted 9 October 2011 Posted 9 October 2011 Two away daws and a home win. Pretty sure we'll be able to start back up again after that.
Thracian Posted 9 October 2011 Posted 9 October 2011 Well it's boring me silly. I hate the disruption the breaks cause. Football just doesn't seem the same and the more so since I've ceased to have the slightest interest in our national team. I don't think it need make any difference to City. It gives time for a few knocks to clear but that will possible give us more problems than it'll solve - especially with Sven presumably having to decide whether to bring Beckford straight back!
Fox92 Posted 9 October 2011 Posted 9 October 2011 I agree. I'd rather the break come when we have had a defeat, rather than when we are currently unbeaten. But, we have to deal with it as do the other teams.
