Kitchandro Posted 25 October 2011 Posted 25 October 2011 Neither are you, you backstabber. So are you actually telling me, that you won't jump over the seats to deck me next time I join in a chorus of 'come on Leicester?'. I don't believe you!
ithuriel Posted 25 October 2011 Posted 25 October 2011 we we're good against brighton and good against derby, we we're lucky against the saints and down right awful against reading, brizzle and so bad against millwall i had flashbacks to craig levein being in charge
Godzilla Gorilla Pimp Posted 25 October 2011 Posted 25 October 2011 The decision to sack him is a bad one for the same reason it was a bad decision to appoint him. It's the wrong decision at the wrong time for the wrong reasons. Sven was appointed on his reputation - which isn't borne out in footballing fact - he then made an ill-advised dash for promotion with loan signings - instead of getting us up the table and then laying the foundations for this season. That meant all the rebuilding had to be done in the summer - most of which was spent trying to sign any striker who'd scored in consecutive games. it's hard to argue against any of the individual signings but they don't fit together just as many of them didn't last season. Sven's treatment of players who were here before him who, unlike him, got us into the play-off positions, was contemptuous. It's all very well signing the stars who are a bit short of regular Premiership football (yak, Bednar, kamara, Cunningham, Nugent, Johnson et al) but they don't get you out of the Championship. Look at the Swansea, Norwich and QPR squads last season. Helguson, Pratley, Holt, Houlihan - hardly household names. Sven was appointed because he is famous and I've no doubt his successor will be chosen on the same basis.it will be an emotional decision or a marketing decision, not a football one. And we'll be treated to unhappy players (players love Sven because he runs such a slack regime) a new manager frustrated because he can't bring in his own players - in other words an exact replica of last season. The decision to torpedo NFP who was building a strong club and squad, looks more and more disastrous as time passes.
Guest Col city fan Posted 25 October 2011 Posted 25 October 2011 It's ok, that title has long ago been claimed by yourself. I haven't cried for ages and my eyes have been dry all day, thank you. Would be nice of you to re-find those posts of appraisal for Sven and the team just to back it all up. All you wanted was success, right. Just without Sven- Göran Eriksson. THAT's embarrassing. Congratulations for having had a certain influence on the decision of the board to sack Sven. Long live your negativity. Hail Kitchandro! For fooks sake you two!!! Why not meet up and engage in a bout of fisticuffs! Get it out of your systems!!

DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 25 October 2011 Posted 25 October 2011 So are you actually telling me, that you won't jump over the seats to deck me next time I join in a chorus of 'come on Leicester?'. I don't believe you! Of course not. Unless you happened to be standing up.
ta-fc Posted 25 October 2011 Posted 25 October 2011 We were nieve to think this wouldn't happen if results didn't go our way, its par for the course with the majority of foreign ownership these days... Football is a results business and the Thai's obviously didn't think they were getting a good return for there money... I tend to agree to a certain degree if you consider some of the performances vs what we've spent, with that level of expenditure pre-season we were always going to be have huge amounts of coverage and there's nothing more us Brits thrive on than building someone/thing up then kicking it on the way down... Just look at 99% of the stories the red tops print. Removing emotion from this whole situation people on here and the RL moan in would have literally have had no impact on the Thai's decision to sack Sven that would have been based purely on business... For instance consider this: We know the Thai's have based a lot of the revenue to hopefully be generated in the Thailand market, selling our shirts etc in the airport and the rights to our games to Thai TV... After the B'ham or Millwall game the producer of Thai TV calls Top and says look we've got viewers leaving in droves cause Leicester keep getting beat I want to renegotiate our contract... Like I said this hypothetical situation could be the sort of business decision to spark the change in management... I'm not saying this is the case simply offering an alternative view...
Kitchandro Posted 25 October 2011 Posted 25 October 2011 Of course not. Unless you happened to be standing up. I'll hold you to that. Because if you say something on here and don't do it on matchdays then you sir, would be a chicken. That's right, I said it.

The decision to torpedo NFP who was building a strong club and squad, looks more and more disastrous as time passes. Agree 100% Wrong decision now just like wrong decision at the time. New manager will find it hard as Sven has hardly looked demanding of the players. And like a few people said the loan signings were ridiculous when he could have signed a few players accompanied by a couple of loans & started the building work for this summer instead of having to do it all over again with a whole new team. Aside from an amazing appointment this could backfire spectacularly as I believe his signings will be gutted & there's no opportunity for any of them to be replaced.
ta-fc Posted 25 October 2011 Posted 25 October 2011 Yeah, the team not looking organised despite keeping 5 clean sheets in the last 7 league games. Good joke. Makes me laugh how fvcking ingrate Forest-supporting morons like you spout so much shit and it gets taken as gospel by most. What a load of fvcking cobblers. Hope all you boo-boys and Sven detractors will be happy with Gregory, Schteve, Roy Keane or Alan Shearer. Ha ha ha 'Schteve'... Pissing myself at this...
Guest Basildon Fox Posted 25 October 2011 Posted 25 October 2011 Well it is the morning after. On reflection I still feel it was a little too soon but if the Thais thought it was time for him to go then so be it. 13 games in is too long to keep using the excuse of the team gelling. I am in Cardiff at the moment and no one is laughing at us down here. Find out about him going while I was at a poker night and the general consensus was indifferece to it.
Raj Posted 25 October 2011 Posted 25 October 2011 Well done to the 'out brigade'. You won. Congrats guys, another year of unrest and disruption. Dont really recall there being a massive "SVEN OUT" campaign unless i lost my mind of late. EVen after Sats loss the team may have got booted out but did you hear a chorus of Sven out chants? No i didnt think so...SO who you blaming? We've been a laughing stock in the CChip for many years now,its no surprise. Atleast these owners are putting their money where their mouths are, unlike other owners we've had....just hope the next manager utilises the funds correctly
flowwolf Posted 25 October 2011 Posted 25 October 2011 If anything Sven was responsible for us being a laughing stock. That performance on Saturday summed it all up. All the money he had at his disposal all the players HE brought in and all the supposed football knowledge he had amounted to a humiliating three nil defeat at home to a near bottom side on top of all the other piss poor performances under his leadership. How much more of a laughing stock do you need? Bloody good riddance.
Trickyfox Posted 25 October 2011 Posted 25 October 2011 I'm still rather shocked about the whole thing, Sven should not have been sacked so soon. I know the owners want to get into the prem but please, its still only October and we are only 2 points of the play offs. This has just pushed the club into chaos, and we have 3 tough games coming up. I would just like to thank the boo boys the moaning naive incompetent wasters on the phone in and on this forum who’s negative opinion and defeatist attitude has forced the hand of the owners to ditch one of the best managers in the world. Roll on panic appointment and welcome Davis or McClaren to the KingPower stadium, if Mr Steve McClaren turns up they can have MY FOOKING SEASON TICKET BACK.

Are really suggesting that a man that has had an average employment period with each club of about 2 years, one of the best managers in the world? Aside from the England job, where he lasted a few more years, there have been few stints longer than 18 months. That doesn't make one of the best managers in the world, far from it, it shows a man that was never prepared to get found out. Sven is a nice guy, no doubt about that, feel a bit sorry for him, but nice guys never win!. Football is a results driven game, even more so for foreign owners, it is simply business. Anyone who thinks we are going to suffer because of this needs to give their head a shake. We have a young team, they will react well to a more disciplined approach. If Sven thought it was just a blip, he would have been shouting from the rooftops, even doing the job for nothing to prove his point, and moreso, prove his ability. He didn't and hasn't, speaks volumes. Sven doesn't have the desire/acumen/drive etc for the Championship, he realises it and has done the decent thing for LCFC.
