dorsetfox Posted 26 October 2011 Posted 26 October 2011 AND THATS LOAN IN 2 WINGERS OF QUALITY think beckford would shine and nugent bag a few more if they had decent service from the wings if a 4-4-2 manager comes in i can see a few going back aka fenandes, johnson will the new man be as much in love with mills and bamba as sven was he might want a fast lb and konchesky might not fit the bill we could see a whole different team again come the end of the next transfer window
Legend_in_blue Posted 26 October 2011 Posted 26 October 2011 If the wingers don't come in and MON does expect a 3-5-2 formation at first. St Ledger Bamba Mills Peltier Wellens King Danns Konchesky Nugent Beckford
flanimal Posted 26 October 2011 Posted 26 October 2011 Vassell is done. He shouldn't be playing again, Sven was a idiot to play him so often.
nuttytimmy Posted 26 October 2011 Posted 26 October 2011 Why on earth would any new manager drop our best defender (Bamba) and most promising midfielder (Johnson)? If fit Johnson has the potential to be the very best player in this league. He's Premiership quality.
trabuch Posted 26 October 2011 Posted 26 October 2011 And get a coach who knows how to train up wingers - someone like say.. John Robertson
Guest Col city fan Posted 26 October 2011 Posted 26 October 2011 And get a coach who knows how to train up wingers - someone like say.. John Robertson the first thing that 'whoever comes in' needs to do is to make it clear who is actually in charge of this squad of players and that anyone who isnt happy to be put in 100% for the cause is free to seek their fortune elsewhere Wingers and all that stuff can come later...
irishgus Posted 26 October 2011 Posted 26 October 2011 Two good wingers would be great because we have good strikers and will finish with good deliveries, even Gally could do the job if he could find some form back again and also Konchesky needs to be nowhere near the starting 11 he is hopless!!!
gazfox9 Posted 26 October 2011 Posted 26 October 2011 Don't wanna jump the gun, but if MON does come in, if Beckford puts in the sort of performance he did sat i'll bet pretty much everything I own he'll be first out the door!

FoxesFan123 Posted 26 October 2011 Posted 26 October 2011 If its O'neil, I guarantee we will see the return of Howard to the starting line up.
Guest Col city fan Posted 26 October 2011 Posted 26 October 2011 If its O'neil, I guarantee we will see the return of Howard to the starting line up. First thing I'd do is a Mike Bassett...go over to Danns, snatch his mobile phone from him and smash it on the floor!!
MC Prussian Posted 26 October 2011 Posted 26 October 2011 Well, what happens if we can't appoint a manager at all or not for a longer period of time, say a couple of weeks? Serious backfire, that'd be.
Guest Col city fan Posted 26 October 2011 Posted 26 October 2011 Well, what happens if we can't appoint a manager at all or not for a longer period of time, say a couple of weeks? Serious backfire, that'd be. For the first time since Sven got sacked, I agree with you MC... IF the owners have no-one lined up, in terms of already had talks, then this was bad timing
Skullfisher Posted 26 October 2011 Posted 26 October 2011 If its O'neil, I guarantee we will see the return of Howard to the starting line up. I bet he would. Howard is like an ummm......young Ian Marshall.....
foxesfan1 Posted 26 October 2011 Posted 26 October 2011 Definately agree wingers are needed, still believe we should have went in for routledge and sean wp, how ever saying vassell is no good... you must be on crack, hes been one of the best players we have!

IF the owners have no-one lined up, in terms of already had talks, then this was bad timing Right, At least last time (after Sousa's sacking) we had Chrissy Powell for the interim
BNET Posted 27 October 2011 Posted 27 October 2011 I bet he would. Howard is like an ummm......young Ian Marshall..... So MON is stupid now then ! Jesus Christ.. that was in reply to Foxesfan123 by the way..
BNET Posted 27 October 2011 Posted 27 October 2011 Vassell is done. He shouldn't be playing again, Sven was a idiot to play him so often. Our best combination up front as been Nugent and Vassell, by a long way. The only time it hasn't worked with Vassel is when Sven tried to make him a winger. l don't think some people actually watch the game !!!
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 27 October 2011 Posted 27 October 2011 Yes. Resign before they get sacked.
blueredswed Posted 27 October 2011 Posted 27 October 2011 Is this the right time to disguss the player who will stay and who will left? I´m sorry but I gonna leave this forum now because how you are threating people! Yes they are overpaid but will not play better after this thread. I say in the thread " please stay Blueredswed" and I promised 13 weeks : ) but with this start of thread I´m bowing and say nice to have been here. Some guys liked mee and some don´t but this....thread How low can you englishmen sink? I don´t know there are some booth who have been negative to Sven and some who have been positive I woul´d like to take a PINT with :scarf: But now I´ve gone with this.GOOD BLESS THE BLUE AND THE´RE REAL SUPPORTERS :scarf: BLUEREDSWED (LENNART)
Thracian Posted 27 October 2011 Posted 27 October 2011 Our best combination up front as been Nugent and Vassell, by a long way. The only time it hasn't worked with Vassel is when Sven tried to make him a winger. l don't think some people actually watch the game !!! Through all his time at Leicester Vassell hasn't scored enough goals to play the support-striker role. Nor is he destructive enough to be a winger. It's a pity cos the guy gives his all. But he's little more than a bench player now if we expect to be successful. Unless a very good manager could somehow get more from him.
