Dr The Singh Posted 27 October 2011 Posted 27 October 2011 You couldn't afford what the News of the World are paying me. I've got better on my betamax tape!!!!

davieG Posted 27 October 2011 Author Posted 27 October 2011 Support a different club whose web site you can access? Thinking about it
The Doctor Posted 27 October 2011 Posted 27 October 2011 Player isn't working for me, anyone else having a problem? aye, trying to sign up for it (can't get the radio up in bradford) but it keeps rejecting the details I put in: type in my e-mail - not a valid e-mail, etc.
davieG Posted 27 October 2011 Author Posted 27 October 2011 Funnily enough the only time I've managed to get anything it's been just Foxesplayer
danny. Posted 27 October 2011 Posted 27 October 2011 Not the best advice I've ever seen! C:\Users\me4>nslookup 84.53.132.74 84.53.132.74: Non-existent domain lcfc.com is: C:\Users\me>nslookup www.lcfc.com Non-authoritative answer: Name: a1963.g.akamai.net Addresses: 2.20.183.184 2.20.183.168 Aliases: www.lcfc.com www.lcfc.premiumtv.co.uk cp73509.edgesuite.net Edit: none of those IPs get me anywhere near lcfc.com either. Not sure what's going on On the same topic, I can get www.nationwide.co.uk fine in Internet Explorer, but not in Google Chrome. Now that's irritating I ran an nslookup when I posted that and that was one of the IPs along with another very similar IP - weird that it's changed so drastically!
thybluefox Posted 27 October 2011 Posted 27 October 2011 Would be very very strange if it were a DNS issue, working on FF confirms it isn't though obv. I wonder if the ever changing IPs are anything to do with the fact it's actually part of a network of sites? I bet they've got some beastly load balancing going on with all the sites they host.
lcfcadam Posted 27 October 2011 Posted 27 October 2011 Put simply it doesn't seem to be working in Chrome. I doubt mine and davieG's computer set-ups have much in common other than the fact that we both use Chrome, and yet the OS doesn't work on that browser for both of us. Anyone using Chrome who can still get on it? EDIT: Now I can just about get on the site but none of the stylesheets load so it's all just plain text, not the beautiful OS design I'm used to(!)
thybluefox Posted 28 October 2011 Posted 28 October 2011 Adam, have you popped open the console to see if there's anything weird going on with some JS? Might be worth running the profiler too, sounds like something is making the page epically slow in Chrome. Strange, as I always thought it was more reliable than FF et al. Anyway, it's not an issue with your computers specifically, rather something wrong with the site.
The Doctor Posted 28 October 2011 Posted 28 October 2011 Don't know whether it's been fixed in the time between adam posting that and now but it's running fine for me on chrome.
