breadandcheese Posted 27 October 2011 Posted 27 October 2011 Also Shearer's been linked up with the England job when Capello leaves. At which point I could happily sever all manner of caring for the England national side.
dannythefox Posted 27 October 2011 Posted 27 October 2011 I bet he's applied I bet Top would love the fact that Alan Shearer has applied I bet Top doesn't know that the vast majority of City fans prob think he's a knob for kicking Lennon, doubt he knows it ever happened I bet he ticks the owners 'high profile' manager box that the Thai's seem to like - this project is about publicity for them afterall I bet Top would think that Shearer could attract some higher profile players doubt it will happen, but at 20-1 I reckon its a good bet Its not a good bet thats why it 20/1 if anyone thinks it will be Shearer then you might aswell go put your head down the bog...... then flush it!
absolutelegend Posted 27 October 2011 Author Posted 27 October 2011 Really what'd be the difference apart from we actually like Walsh? You're speaking as a Leicester fan. Top isn't a Leicester fan
Kitchandro Posted 27 October 2011 Posted 27 October 2011 You're speaking as a Leicester fan. Top isn't a Leicester fan I'm aware of that, I'm just saying they're both thick and have little to no experience of management, people laugh Walshie off as a candidate and rightly so, Shearer should be the same, Top may not know everything about football but he will see what he's done in management and, well, you saw the Mr Chow videos.
davieG Posted 27 October 2011 Posted 27 October 2011 You're speaking as a Leicester fan. Top isn't a Leicester fan No he's businessman who needs to get LCFC into the PL. as soon as. Apart from playing for England and that doesn't necessarily make him world renowned what else does he bring to the table that would convince Top that he's the man to get us promoted. Next to zero management experience Knows nothing of this league Knows zilch about getting teams promoted. About as charismatic and likeable as a dead puppet His CV would look like this
loAf Posted 27 October 2011 Posted 27 October 2011 i was at the game vs newcastle when he kicked lennon, hated the ****er ever since. should have been banned for that, didnt even get a ticking off from the ref. disgusting bloke.
DonnaLCFCBee1 Posted 27 October 2011 Posted 27 October 2011 I seem to remember him kicking him in the head when he was on the floor at filbo, it was right in front of us! Yep I remember it well!! Don't want Shearer as Manager, but if there IS anything in this & it becomes reality, spose we just have to trust the owners know what they're doing!!

absolutelegend Posted 27 October 2011 Author Posted 27 October 2011 but if there IS anything in this.. There prob isn't. this is just wild speculation and conjecture on my part. this is what these boards are for afterall. Oh, for the same reasons why I think Shearer is a contender, I also think Keane is. Personally really dislike both of them.
loAf Posted 27 October 2011 Posted 27 October 2011 ...and threatened not to play for England if investigated/punished - allegedly wow, didnt realise that, i was only 12 or 13 at the time. even worse. there are few things that would ever make me denounce my beloved leicester city, but if dowie or shearer ever becam manager id be pretty close to burning my shirt on the steps of the KP and moving to bahrain... wait... ** please note i did not burn my shirt before i moved to bahrain 3 years ago.
wellyfox Posted 27 October 2011 Posted 27 October 2011 not my first choice, not even in my top 5, but I have a sneaky feeling he could be a serious contender He fits no bill. After 15 games he fits the bill. I thought our owners wanted promotion this season. Also whoever comes in needs to command respect he won't. And after Lennon he can go fvck himself with a broken bottle. He will never have my respect or support. Would Also have no support for the club with him here. Even if he turned out better than MoN. He's a spoilt kid and can Fvck right off.

GH1 Posted 27 October 2011 Posted 27 October 2011 No chance, limited experience and that didn't go well
BoneDog Posted 27 October 2011 Posted 27 October 2011  That was my reaction aswell but with the top brass at the FA being complete idiots you never know!
Corky Posted 27 October 2011 Posted 27 October 2011 About as charismatic and likeable as a dead puppet He'll be disappointed to hear that.
whoareyaaa Posted 27 October 2011 Posted 27 October 2011 Alan Shearer would be a good shout then our backroom staff could be Alan Hansen and Gary Linekar Well at least they have watched more matches than all of us and know every players pros and cons would be worth a shot!
whoareyaaa Posted 27 October 2011 Posted 27 October 2011 Your got the wrong MOTD presenter English please.

Beckford is a brat 2hrs with shitra he'd be a spoilt brat And as for gazza love him to bits but we have a soft enough centre already.
