Mack Posted 6 November 2011 Posted 6 November 2011 Did anyone else notice that the big screens were often using the broadcast feed for Thai TV and at one point a close up of the owners appeared on the big screens? I've got to say this summed up in a lot of ways what this venture is all about for the owners.... self publicity. I felt sure that as a result of this we were going to get another 'big name' Manager but something must have gone on (Bigger names knocking them back over the past 2 weeks?) and they are having to re think. It wouldn't surprise me in time if we don't find out over the past 2 weeks the likes of Hughes have had a look and knocked the job back. Just a thought.
whitlock Posted 6 November 2011 Posted 6 November 2011 Yeah I clocked that. A lot more player up closes etc alas sky viewing.
Guest ttfn Posted 6 November 2011 Posted 6 November 2011 They got booed. Was that not just a coincidence? I remember thinking that it sounded like they were being booed, but I'm sure something else had just happened which might have caused the booing...
Fez of Mahrez Posted 6 November 2011 Posted 6 November 2011 Was that not just a coincidence? I remember thinking that it sounded like they were being booed, but I'm sure something else had just happened which might have caused the booing... Interesting. I hadn't noticed if that was the case. I thought the booing was directed at them, not sure if most thought otherwise?

It was bad timing, they came on the screen as we were booing either a Leeds player feigning injury or a crap Ref decision - there were so many of both, I can't remember which it was. I remember it looking bad too.

Libertine Dream Posted 6 November 2011 Posted 6 November 2011 If it gets to the stage of booing the owners, I will give up and pay my money to watch Hinckley every week and go to the races more often. Ive not become disillusioned with the club at all but instead the fans at the moment and Radio Leicester's Sven love fest.
AyewJoking Posted 6 November 2011 Posted 6 November 2011 I think all the "big names" who have knocked us back have kindly agreed not to go public, hence saving the club from more embarrassment and making the sucker who eventually takes the job feel less of a last resort.
