Number 6 Posted 11 November 2011 Posted 11 November 2011 We only have ONE 'loaned youngster', and the league table doesn't suggest that you have better 'individual quality' at your place, obviously in some positions you will have better players, in others we will have better players, time will tell whether he got the best out of the squad, or whether it is simply a very good squad of players, none of which you will be buying unless you're willing to pay extravagantly over inflated prices, you know like the NP one I think your squad is currently performing at near maximum potential though. We are way below that mark. The reason I have to believe that we'll improve is that some of our underperformers have previously been some of the Championship's best players. We'll see at the end of the season I guess, but I wouldn't be surprised to see both of us in the playoffs. Edit: I don't know why you think us paying over the odds for NP would annoy us, we've been doing it on players all summer. It's not my money they're spending.
NewburyFox Posted 11 November 2011 Posted 11 November 2011 You have as much chance of signing Cameron Stewart as you have of seeing MON as your next manager Erm...why? We've signed Mills for £4.5m, Beckford for £2.5m, etc etc.
ithuriel Posted 11 November 2011 Posted 11 November 2011 Sorry Amber but a manager normally bring's in player's from his old club if they are better than what is at his new club or to help his new squad adjust. Nigel know's a fair few of the player's here already and a number of the poeple behind the scene's and Hobbs struggled badly with out Nigel and was replaced by far better player's, barring SSL Knowing our former, soon to be manager, (unless thing's fall through,) he will have a few player's targeted for loan's if he require's them and here he know's he will have some money to spend in January. In fact he may well be loaning out player's since our squad as a fair few that are not getting any game's.
Langston Posted 13 November 2011 Posted 13 November 2011 They actually do have some decent young players, very similar to our squad a few seasons back, though, punching above their weight. Pearson always seems to nail that blend of youth and experience absolutely perfectly. Evans, Stewart, Chester, Brady, Hobbs, Dudgeon. All young and all more than competent at this level. Add to the mix the likes of Koren, Harper, Fryatt, McKenna and Rosenior - solid Championship players - and it's little wonder they're performing so admirably.
bluearmyfox23 Posted 14 November 2011 Posted 14 November 2011 Who Is hull's keeper atm ? And is he any good ?

When Pearson was here we thought he left us with a squad of good young players for the future. Unfortunately when Pearson left it turned out they were all actually a pile of shit, and he just managed to get extra out of the players that others couldn't.
