hairy Posted 16 November 2011 Posted 16 November 2011 No real surprise there. Great player and captain but poor manager.
RowlattsFox Posted 16 November 2011 Posted 16 November 2011 Don't know too much about Rugby, but enjoy watching it. I don't think he really had much choice, more or less been forced out, after the world cup disappointment. Wouldn't be surprised to see him replace Cockerill at Tigers in the future.

accessory Posted 16 November 2011 Posted 16 November 2011 He should have learnt his trade at club level first. But some of his players need to have a look at their actions in New Zealand, on and off the field. We need to start planning the the 2015 Rugby World Cup now. Clear out the old guard and use the Six Nations to give younger players a platform to show their talent.

Thats even more concerning. And Yet people like Rob Andrew seem to accept no responsibility and distance themselves from all blame. They get to keep their jobs, of course. The world cup for me was incredibly annoying.... i was away on holiday for the most of it and when i returned home for the knock out stages i had to work like crazy to catch up and ended up missing most of it.. :-(

Par for the course where English sport is concerned. The hierarchy love to bathe in the limelight when teams are successful, but can't wait to pass the buck when things don't quite go to plan.
