Salieri Posted 29 November 2011 Posted 29 November 2011 There's nothing wrong with a minute's applause to recognise Speed's achievements in the game, is there? Quite why anybody would get themselves in a twist about it is beyond me. This.

buzzy Posted 29 November 2011 Posted 29 November 2011 It may be wrong to you but maybe there might be people who want to pay respect? then they can go to his funeral then
purpleronnie Posted 29 November 2011 Posted 29 November 2011 I find it odd that people can't understand a minutes applause, I know were all reserved and applauding all seems alien but I like it its more of a celebration of what he achieved, I wouldnt mind either a minutes silence or minutes applause, but find it baffling that people seem to have a problem with either one.
lcfcadam Posted 29 November 2011 Posted 29 November 2011 then they can go to his funeral then Haha yeah that's super practical - tens of thousands of fans descending on some little village church in Wales to pay their respects... No offence mate but that's quite a moronic post!
I am Rod Hull Posted 29 November 2011 Posted 29 November 2011 There's nothing wrong with a minute's applause to recognise Speed's achievements in the game, is there? Quite why anybody would get themselves in a twist about it is beyond me. There`s nowt stranger than folk...
iancognito Posted 29 November 2011 Posted 29 November 2011 Alright, I understand people complaining about goal music, complaining about Sven, complaining about 4-3-3... but complaining about a minute's applause/silence for a well respected footballer who's tragically passed away? FoxesTalk has hit a new low. This. If it was a non-footballer then it's different but he was a guy who had only recently retired, was well-liked and is the national team manager of one of our players, I prefer minute's silences but it's about paying respect to people, it's not even an issue.
Head Honcho Posted 29 November 2011 Posted 29 November 2011 Lots of fans up and down the country singing one Gary Speed at some point during their matches
