Rincewind Posted 24 December 2011 Posted 24 December 2011 I have never spent a fortune on shoes. Never paid more than £30. Some don't last so long but there is no gurantee that the £30 plus are going to be better. I have a wide foot size and am not the best walker so any shoe would wear out.
AoWW Posted 24 December 2011 Posted 24 December 2011 Oh, my. I've just discovered the Christian Louboutin online sale has started. Must... show... restraint... *pines for lovely new shiny boots*
flowwolf Posted 25 December 2011 Posted 25 December 2011 Never had shoes as a kid we were too poor. My Dad used to paint my feet black then lace up my toes and tell me they were only to be worn for best.
Rincewind Posted 25 December 2011 Posted 25 December 2011 It's obvious why the Americans have gone mad over them. They thought the name Christian meant that the shoes were blessed and endorsed by Jesus himself. Any shoe worn by their friend must be another point to them to get on the road to Paradise.
ozleicester Posted 25 December 2011 Posted 25 December 2011 I saw Suggs doing an advert the other day about kicking racism out of football. That's madness gone politically correct It was a latecomer... but... post of the year
ozleicester Posted 25 December 2011 Posted 25 December 2011 I tried hard to get a pair, I stopped at stabbing somebody for them though. Plastic (shoe) fans
flowwolf Posted 25 December 2011 Posted 25 December 2011 He is upgrading when he returns. What to holy Crocs ?
MrFox781 Posted 25 December 2011 Posted 25 December 2011 115 fvckin quid. thats 15 quid off my season ticket. lot of money man.
Samilktray Posted 25 December 2011 Posted 25 December 2011 These are a collectors item more than anything, last time they released was about 10 years ago I think. So its not like people were going mad for a bog standard pair of Nike or Adidas's. (I'm a sneaker fanatic, I'm not being snobby)
flowwolf Posted 25 December 2011 Posted 25 December 2011 Wait a minute so all those sad acts who kept their originals in a box from ten years ago have now been shafted by Nike because or the re-release ? Ha fvcking Ha !
Corky Posted 25 December 2011 Posted 25 December 2011 I have one pair of shoes and two pairs of trainers. I'm a proper shoe fan.
Saxondale Posted 30 December 2011 Posted 30 December 2011 These are a collectors item more than anything, last time they released was about 10 years ago I think. So its not like people were going mad for a bog standard pair of Nike or Adidas's. (I'm a sneaker fanatic, I'm not being snobby) So what you're saying is 50% of them will have ended up straight on eBay?
