brockmyster Posted 4 January 2012 Posted 4 January 2012 Id like to see moussa involved, which i reckon he may well be seeing as its 7 subs, no reason not to imo.
cc_star Posted 4 January 2012 Posted 4 January 2012 Beckford should start this. Absolutely idea chance to get people off his back, get him a goal etc. I read that as "get him in goal"
RedHux Posted 4 January 2012 Posted 4 January 2012 we have 8 or 9 players injured so I don't think SC has much wiggle room as regards resting playing staff. Perhaps Raddy for Lewis and hopefully a proper CB instead of a DM makeshift CB. Also, I think you should play Weeeeeale. He's great he is.

RedHux Posted 4 January 2012 Posted 4 January 2012 We had someone on the bench I'd never heard of against Ipswich! Only one actual CB too. If Beckford doesn't score against us he never will.
lcfcadam Posted 4 January 2012 Posted 4 January 2012 In some ways would be quite useful if we put Weale in goal because at least I'd know we'd lost the match before we even started so there'd be no tension or stress...
Leicesterpool Posted 4 January 2012 Posted 4 January 2012 Leicester to win 1-0 Nugent to Score Is it true Forest have only sold 7,000 home tickets for this
JonnyBoy Posted 4 January 2012 Posted 4 January 2012 Leicester to win 1-0 Nugent to Score Is it true Forest have only sold 7,000 home tickets for this released top tier of trent end so will be more
CountesthorpeFox Posted 4 January 2012 Posted 4 January 2012 Tom Kennedy played very well against Palace at LB. I am for one, really against putting him anywhere else but his natural position. We have done this far too many times as a club over the years. Lets just put round pegs in round holes for a change. Suggestions to play him at RB or LM I cannot agree with. He had a good game and has shown that he is more than capable back up for Konchesky. Konchesky though has been one of our best, most consistent players this season and for me has gradually improved and has a visibly good on field attitude. Kasper Peltier Mills Tunchev if fit Kennedy Gallagher Abe King Dyer Beckford Schlupp Weale Konchesky Bamba Wellens Nugent Danns Moussa Keep Wellens and Konchesky rested. Rest Nugent and Danns.
GianEmmo Zola Posted 4 January 2012 Posted 4 January 2012 schmicheal, peltier, kennedy, tunchev, mills, bamba, abe, danns, king, beckford, schlupp, 7 subs!! Classic Weale, wellens, nugent, gallagher, moore, konchesky, dyer,
ACF Posted 4 January 2012 Posted 4 January 2012 Kasper Pelts Mills Bamba Tunchev KennedyAbe Danns KingBeckford Schlupp5-3-2 with one of the midfield pushing up and supporting the strikers, and Bamba pushing up.Either that orKasperPelts Bamba Tunchev KennedyAbeJohnson KingDannsBeckford SchluppI know Johnson won't play, but am pretty desperate to seem him given a go. If we have to, swap him for Wellens, but with Abe pushed into CM, and Wellens dropping into DM. I also think a Tunch/Bamba combination could work well, but all depends on Tunch's fitness and how much he's lost over the last 2 years.I think we need to build a team, and try to create some consistency, which really propelled us up the league last time with NFP.Also, if Moore wasn't cup-tied he'd be in.
jonlcfc1990 Posted 4 January 2012 Posted 4 January 2012 Pre match 14:55 people have been talking about a Poznan arranged both tiers of the away end any thoughts? Also A campaign similar to our wear yellow trip to man city but instead wear blue. Just a heads up

Also A campaign similar to our wear yellow trip to man city but instead wear blue. Just a heads up Sounds like a decent idea to be fair. I got tickets to Man City vs Man Utd in the City end, FA cup semi last year, and when the United team was being read out the entire allocation of Man City fans did it. Was brilliant. I probably wont go in colours. Had a bad experience and thought not worth the bother again. Having said that if I was going via FT I would.
GianEmmo Zola Posted 5 January 2012 Posted 5 January 2012 Think hes cup tied mate. Could be wrong though . . Ah struggling to think of 7 ! Maybe howard if he isnt suspended!
Narborough_fox Posted 5 January 2012 Posted 5 January 2012 Never understood the need for a Goalkeeper to be rested? Want to see us put a decent side out anyway, we need momentum and to gain some confidence and that only comes from winning games. Me neither, being Goalkeeper myself I can tell you if you need a rest you're the most unfit person ever. All we do is lie on the floor and kick a ball.
paddy Agyemang Posted 5 January 2012 Posted 5 January 2012 Poznan every 5 mins would be awesome that would be something new just do it every 5 mins would look great away from home also it will show other clubs including forest scum were quality fans

JonnyBoy Posted 5 January 2012 Posted 5 January 2012 maybe not every 5 minutes lad, we just need to sing throughout the whole game
HEGGSY Posted 5 January 2012 Posted 5 January 2012 Every Five minutes!!! isn't once enough and for some once is one time to many.
davieG Posted 5 January 2012 Posted 5 January 2012 Merc Leicester City are monitoring the progress of full-backs Paul Konchesky and Lee Peltier as the duo bid to return from injury in time for the FA Cup third-round trip to East Midlands rivals Nottingham Forest on Saturday. Both picked up knocks in the 1-1 draw with Portsmouth last Saturday and sat out the excellent victory at Crystal Palace on Monday as academy product Liam Moore and Tom Kennedy stepped in. "We will have a look at their situations," said City boss Nigel Pearson. "Konchesky has a dead leg and Peltier had a bit of a hamstring and groin tightness, and they weren't close enough to make it for the Palace game. "For both Liam and Tom to come into the situation after some disappointing home results, they can take plenty of positives from this. I am pleased for them." For Kennedy it was a long-awaited return to action with City. The 26-year-old was Pearson's last signing before his departure to Hull in June 2010, but Kennedy never played under the manager. And he had not featured for City at all under Sven-Goran Eriksson, although he had been an unused substitute. On Monday, Kennedy made his first appearance since the last game of Paulo Sousa's reign, a 4-3 defeat at Norwich City in September 2010. "I actually signed him so I don't know how he feels about things, but he has finally played under me, 18 months later," said Pearson.
Leicesterpool Posted 5 January 2012 Posted 5 January 2012 what train is everyone getting for forest, I would be nice to start a bit of atmosphere at the station. Hoping to catch the 09:22 from Nuneaton, then the 09:54 from leicester to Nottingham. Arriving into Notts at 10:26. Also is the Notts County club bar going to be open.
bluearmyfox23 Posted 5 January 2012 Posted 5 January 2012 What time is the notts co bar going to open?
