Haydos Posted 18 January 2012 Posted 18 January 2012 1) I bet there's a thread saying how good Beckford is now (despite 6 fvcking billion people and their mum's writing him off 3 days ago) 2) I bet there's a thread praising Pearson and his tactics 3) I bet there's a thread praising someone who's been playing shit or not had a look in recently (because they've been playing shit). Eg. Wellens or Dyer. 4) Someone backing up Mills (there always is). It's 6am and I've made these horrendous predictions with all of this correct spelling, let's at least leave it 'til the morning. I ****ing love that we beat Foest but I don't have any scumbag-supporting mates to rub it in the face of Who shares my genuine over-the-moon-ity and doesn't want to read into anything to soon? x
Charl91 Posted 18 January 2012 Posted 18 January 2012 Aren't all of those 'predictions' pretty standard after every win though? You don't get bonus points for predicting a certainty! But I agree. I'm not going to say that Beckford is suddenly going to score 20 for us, or that Wellens might start playing well for the rest of the games. One game at a time, and all that. But still, very happy with the result!
z-layrex Posted 18 January 2012 Posted 18 January 2012 Pretty much but as the guy above says this happens every time we win. Enjoy the hangover.
Babylon Posted 18 January 2012 Posted 18 January 2012 Shock horror, players and managers get criticised for poor performances and praised after good performances.
Buzzell Posted 18 January 2012 Posted 18 January 2012 Let's just hope this is the turning point to our season. Was a great result but again don't want to get all excited after one game. Like you guys said, take every game as it comes but let's hope that result is the start of something good.
Charl91 Posted 18 January 2012 Posted 18 January 2012 Shock horror, players and managers get criticised for poor performances and praised after good performances. It's not that though. It's more like "X is crap, we should get rid of him" after a couple of poor performances, then when they put in a good performance or two, all of a sudden they are an amazing player. Lots of people seem to base their opinion of a player simply based on the past few games. If Kasper had two or three poor performances in a row, I can imagine some people would be calling for a replacement.
Jace Posted 18 January 2012 Posted 18 January 2012 I am sure we will be back to our true form in the league
Dan Posted 18 January 2012 Posted 18 January 2012 Shock horror, players and managers get criticised for poor performances and praised after good performances. It's absolutely ridiculous. A load of my non-LCFC mates calling me fickle. Sorry, I forgot I was meant to be consistent in my reactions to a 1-2 loss to Barnsley and a 4-0 win against Forest.
z-layrex Posted 18 January 2012 Posted 18 January 2012 God, this took way too long to type! Hanging out your arse?
Haydos Posted 18 January 2012 Author Posted 18 January 2012 Nahhhhhh! And I had a tidy win at the casino. Long live student life Missed everything and anything to do with the game last night though
Nickfosse Posted 18 January 2012 Posted 18 January 2012 What amazes me is the quality of your English and grammar when drunk at 6a.m. in the morning. Who said standards of education were falling?
