bald reynard Posted 18 January 2012 Posted 18 January 2012 Once again the OS is lacking in its coverage. The 4th Round Youth tie against Charlton is on tonight (7.00 pm ko at Welling United's ground). Loads of info on it on the Charlton site - nothing on ours ! Apparently (as reported on their site), Chris Powell is the secret weapon in their Youth Team Managers' armoury - "he's given us loads of background on the strengths and qualities of Leicester". There's even a full report there on OUR last Youth Team league win (3-2 at the weekend) ! The winners play Spurs in the 5th Round. Hope we do it.
hbkkids Posted 18 January 2012 Posted 18 January 2012 Would want us to win of course but it ain't something I am gonna lose sleep over
lcfcsnow Posted 18 January 2012 Posted 18 January 2012 1-1, Michael Cain for us. Some fantastically named players in the academy.
Happy Fox Posted 18 January 2012 Posted 18 January 2012 1-1, Michael Cain for us. Isn't he the guy we signed from Luton?
Fez of Mahrez Posted 18 January 2012 Posted 18 January 2012 Isn't he the guy we signed from Luton? Yep.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 18 January 2012 Posted 18 January 2012 Lost 2-1 AET. Sounds like we had lots of chances. In normal time we had 15 corners to their 1. Ah well. Lots of promise in this year's crop by the sound of things.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 18 January 2012 Posted 18 January 2012 Did du du du doo, Joseph Doodoo play? Yep.
Lamby Posted 18 January 2012 Posted 18 January 2012 Would of gone, but with a chest infection I thought better of it, but we've battered people in the early rounds of the cup, won 9-0, 7-0 and 3-0 or something like that

Mission Unlikely Promotion Posted 19 January 2012 Posted 19 January 2012 Sounds like it was a good game, good effort by Leicester, good luck to Charlton
ramadaone Posted 19 January 2012 Posted 19 January 2012 First half Charlton were the better side with City looking a bit over awed with the occassion 2nd half a totally different story with the boys showing great grit and determination to get back in the game. Totally dominated and on top of the goal we missed a pen,an open goal from 2 yards and numerous other great chances so should have won the game easy Unfortunately could not get a 2nd goal and that proved costly as a dodgy pen saw Charlton go through It was an old fashioned cup tie with loads of effort but perhaps not that much quality especially defensively Hopper and Harry P ran their defence ragged at times and were most impressive but the whole team should be proud of their efforts
