HEGGSY Posted 22 January 2012 Posted 22 January 2012 sorry should i just belive a chancer No. But to soley base your opinion on the Kebe saga is stupid.
john doe Posted 22 January 2012 Posted 22 January 2012 No. But to soley base your opinion on the Kebe saga is stupid. not just the kebe saga. the fact that 90 percent of us can see though the self indulgent promotion of bert, the info man 'I read more papers than you'
MikeyT Posted 22 January 2012 Posted 22 January 2012 According to Bert's information he does. When did he tweet that?
Adster Posted 22 January 2012 Posted 22 January 2012 When did he tweet that? He didn't, Bert said on the Wellens thread in the transfer section that he wants out as he's not playing enough. If you skip through the pages I know his post is at the top of a page.
HEGGSY Posted 22 January 2012 Posted 22 January 2012 When did he tweet that? He didn't tweet it Mikey its on the wellens thread Something along the line of : He wants out.
Guest ttfn Posted 22 January 2012 Posted 22 January 2012 I might get pilloried for saying this, but I don't rate him. Too much Paul Gallagher about him for me.
stourbridgefox Posted 22 January 2012 Posted 22 January 2012 I've never claimed to be ITK or anything like that but I did have a conversation with an ex-City player who still has links with the club after the Millwall defeat. He said that Wellens was a disruptive influence in the dressing room. It's not that he has a bad attitude per se, rather that he has a 'big' personality and tends to dominate feelings in the dressing room. So if Wellens is not happy, the whole dressing room is a tense place. He said that if he was the manager then he would move him on. I'm not one of these people who criticise Wellens for every mistake. But...I think it might be about time for him to move on. It sounds like his legs are going anyway and he is probably past his best. If we can get a fee for him, we should probably take it. And good luck to him as he has been a good servant of the club in recent years.
Bettsy82 Posted 22 January 2012 Posted 22 January 2012 Get rid he's past his best ! And I can believe he has a big ego maybe if he ****s off he will take Gallagher with him, happy days. Its time for a new breed danns, drinkwater, etc .
Schlupp Posted 22 January 2012 Posted 22 January 2012 I might get pilloried for saying this, but I don't rate him. Too much Paul Gallagher about him for me. You obviously haven't watched him then.
Bettsy82 Posted 22 January 2012 Posted 22 January 2012 You obviously haven't watched him then. Who are we talking about Snodgrass or wellens ?
Schlupp Posted 22 January 2012 Posted 22 January 2012 Who are we talking about Snodgrass or wellens ? Snodgrass ofc.
Bettsy82 Posted 22 January 2012 Posted 22 January 2012 Snodgrass ofc. Snodgrass is a quality player. Anyone who thinks otherwise can't have seen him much. He's exactly the type of player we need. But can't see us getting him tho.
Ozwin Posted 22 January 2012 Posted 22 January 2012 If we sign him them our season is well and truely back on track. He's Leeds' best player ffs, I'd absolutely love this.

I think that is evident on the pitch when Peltier and Gallagher always seem to feel the need to pass to him no matter what.
WhenYourSmilingLCFC Posted 22 January 2012 Posted 22 January 2012 Keep seeing people commenting saying Snodgrass is pacey, clearly haven't seen him play. Hes no quicker than Gallagher. Think snodgrass is in top 5 players outside prem, but he lacks pace.
gazfox9 Posted 22 January 2012 Posted 22 January 2012 Would be well happy with Snodgrass. Exactly what we need.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 22 January 2012 Posted 22 January 2012 Can't see this at all. Bates said they had a £2million overspend, which they'll get back with the Howson sale. Even if they'd sell Snodgrass, which I doubt at this stage, it'd take £4million+ and I don't think we'll want to spend that much at the moment.

Leicester_Loyal Posted 22 January 2012 Posted 22 January 2012 I personally think its time for Wellens to move on. I'm glad Pearsons sorting out our midfield.
Poakey Posted 22 January 2012 Posted 22 January 2012 Mmm,got my hopes up when I saw that Bert had posted on this thread. I'd love this one to happen, can't see it though.

He's not bald Posted 22 January 2012 Posted 22 January 2012 No chance, if Snodgrass is going anywhere (which I doubt) it will be to the Prem!
tyneside fox Posted 23 January 2012 Posted 23 January 2012 Not happening according to the Yorkshire Post..... http://www.yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk/sport/leeds-united/latest-whites-news/leeds_united_no_problems_over_snodgrass_deal_grayson_1_4169784
