tickler28 Posted 1 February 2012 Posted 1 February 2012 It was not necessarily that i think he was biased but he was just rubbish. He was way out of his depth. I was fined £85 for confronting a referee about his performance on Sunday league (just like that) not because things weren't going our way but because the decisions were clearly wrong for ALL to see. I don't think that referee will do Championship games again....Screwfix League for him methinks...as linesman!!!
Leicfox Posted 1 February 2012 Posted 1 February 2012 It didn't effect the 2 goals Boro scored though. So we can't blame him for that.
burni Posted 1 February 2012 Posted 1 February 2012 atleast there was no major decisions that were wrong. there was atleast 4 incorrect decisions though. that throw in towards the end, when beckford was fouled, when nugent was caught from behind and when becford chested the ball and their player slipped. Annoying that half the team got carded for decent though! atleast there was no major decisions that were wrong. there was atleast 4 incorrect decisions though. that throw in towards the end, when beckford was fouled, when nugent was caught from behind and when becford chested the ball and their player slipped. LukeyZade Posted 1 February 2012 Posted 1 February 2012 he ruined it all, we play well, we make a tackle in there half, bamn free kick to mids

tickler28 Posted 1 February 2012 Author Posted 1 February 2012 Leicfox not blaming him for their goals at all...you're missing the point. this isn't a mindless rant just pointing out the fact that a referee worth £20 shouldn't be refereeing a game with fans paying more than that to watch!?!
katieakita Posted 1 February 2012 Posted 1 February 2012 The FA want a respect campaign and you get a clown like this! Pearson will cop a big fine and this joke will get what!!
Gold Coast Fox Posted 1 February 2012 Posted 1 February 2012 Bout time the FA started punishing ref's, no doubt pearson will be given a 3 match touchline ban and the ref will be on the field again come saturday. Respect the ref? What a joke.
acooling08 Posted 1 February 2012 Posted 1 February 2012 I cannot stand how yellow cards are given out like sweets these days. Boro make horrific tackles = Nothing. We through the ball away = Yellow card. Disgrace. I know I'll regret this tomorrow, but right now I'd thoroughly enjoy to see the ref breaking a leg so he can never referee again. Useless twat.
_Fatboyslow_ Posted 1 February 2012 Posted 1 February 2012 It didn't effect the 2 goals Boro scored though. So we can't blame him for that. so to foul SSL then to elbow then same player 60 seconds later earns a telling off !!!!, if booked it changes things and NFP gets sent to the stand for telling the 4th officail dont change anything, come on

I am Rod Hull Posted 1 February 2012 Posted 1 February 2012 http://associationfo...n_Ward_(referee) He had a shocker but lets not get carried away. Its only a game....
Stand UP... Posted 1 February 2012 Posted 1 February 2012 The FA want a respect campaign and you get a clown like this! Pearson will cop a big fine and this joke will get what!! Spot on!, the ref and most ref's we have had this season belong in pantomine, complete and utter jokers. how can you storm into the home team dressing room whilst an important team talk is going on and laying down the laws...fking cnt.
Thracian Posted 1 February 2012 Posted 1 February 2012 I wonder if he only sees blondes when he walks down a crowded street - cos he certainly had selective eyesight - and I wonder if he even realises he'd been at the King Power Stadium with all the things he missed. It wasn't just incidents on the ball. He failed to get his head up to anything that was happening off the ball either. And the moment someone reacted to the more ridiculous things he did the worse he made the siuation by booking them. You wouldn't want to save his life - he'd probably report you to the police for being intrusive. His frustratingly poor performance - he even took ages to start the second half - summed up the evening really. It was so bad I was tempted to go home at half time. It was only in the last 10 minutes we showed some urgency and apart from three or four magic moments from Beckford there was very little relating to football that I'd wish to remember....and least of all the referee. .
lcfcliam Posted 1 February 2012 Posted 1 February 2012 This was without a doubt the worst refereeing performance I have ever seen as a season ticket holder! EVERYTHING went to Boro tonight, the only time he gave us free kicks was when they actually weren't fouls? But the whole Pearson thing is an absolute disgrace to football.

I agree with you Thrac... To be fair, the standard of football we played, especially first half was absolute fookin rubbish... I found this to be a very funny game... I was a bit pissed to be fair but found myself laughing throughout much of the game.. Mostly at the ref and the times that Matt fookin Mills just hoofed the ball into absolutely nowhere!! lol Funny game that one
Craig Posted 1 February 2012 Posted 1 February 2012 The most hilarious decision was at the end when he gave a goalkick when it could have been one of the following; 1. Corner 2. Freekick to Boro 3. Freekick to us for handball But no. He gave a goalkick. This, despite the player carrying the ball for about 3 yards out of play having probably been fouled. Ridiculous.
Storming Posted 1 February 2012 Posted 1 February 2012 There shit refs and theres shit Refs but that was then shitties nRef ive ever seen he should be struck off Totaly Wank

Saw that as well!..the only decision it couldn't be was a goal kick....ferkin disgraceful referee!
stivesfox Posted 2 February 2012 Posted 2 February 2012 Google Gavin Ward referee, this fella has form from Accrington to Brighton, what amazes me is he still allowed to referee football matches. Great article from QPR fans last season, they gave the referee 1/10, 1 for tiring his laces. It's time these idiots were eradicated from the game, that performance tonight was embarrassing even Tony Mowbray has gone on record slating him. To walk in a dressing room uninvited is wrong to get the 4th official to your dirty work even worse, I fully expect the football league get this vermin out the championship and send the baby faced twat back to Tesco packing shelves, he ruined the game. In credit to our lads they dug in and got a point. If any of us performed like that in our day jobs we be visiting the job centre tomorrow morning, full respect to Alan Young he got stuck in to this jumped up little ****
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 2 February 2012 Posted 2 February 2012 He may have been a poor referee, but Pearson;s behaviour was much worse.
FoxTrott Posted 2 February 2012 Posted 2 February 2012 He may have been a poor referee, but Pearson;s behaviour was much worse. You're very silly. Pearson is never one to make judgements on fourth officials. I don't know whether you're trolling or not but the way he dealt with it was very tactful. He didn't mention how shit the referee was (although clearly that is a motive), purely that the referee showed him "no respect" by interupting him mid a half time talk. He probably told him to **** off, but If referees don't show teams respect, why should the teams do the same?
