Weller in Tights Posted 9 February 2012 Posted 9 February 2012 Wow, how many of you must be English teachers, or are you just that Daily Mail bunch that bemoan the fact that "Things just aren't like what they used to be!!!! In so many threads there are people picking up on spelling mistakes etc. Give it a rest, look at the point of the post, discuss that. Most errors are because we are either rubbish at typing, have had a beer or in some cases a glass of Chablis!!!! or its just we are rushing our typing as we are agitated, pis**d off, excited or angry. English Language police please just Pis* off!!!!!! And I know I make loads of mistakes before some clever dick points out that's the reason for this post!!!!

I actually cba to deal with grammar on here, I get enough of that with marking and in class to be fair. This is why I'm much less of a Grammar Nazi these days. I only do it if it's an absolute car crash of a post.
