broughtonblue Posted 10 March 2012 Posted 10 March 2012 Most likely going to struggle to get to ticket office tomorrow to buy my chelski tickets, so called in this afternoon, quite late on the way home. Bought a brum ticket for a mate and at the same time explained that as a season ticket holder I was struggling to get on Sunday so asked if there was any chance I could buy two tickets for the cup today even tho I'm only P3. Was told no chance, I then enquired how many remained and got the reply just over 3000. So I politely asked to speak to a manager and said there wasn't much chance of selling 3000 tickets in the next couple of hours so where was the problem? Was told 'rules are rules' Surely a little bit of common sense could have pre-veiled?
jonlcfc1990 Posted 10 March 2012 Posted 10 March 2012 Why not just buy them online? Priority doesnt matter its a free for all www.lcfcdirect.com
body102 Posted 10 March 2012 Posted 10 March 2012 buy on line . you can do it today even tho priority 3

broughtonblue Posted 10 March 2012 Author Posted 10 March 2012 Why not just buy them online? Priority doesnt matter its a free for all www.lcfcdirect.com Think I will do, just the fact I'm working tomorrow so knew I couldn't get, and was driving by the ground anyway after a long day. Can you book foxtravel at the same time online, if not I'm still in the same situation?
Bluefoxtim Posted 10 March 2012 Posted 10 March 2012 I saw someone mention that you can't buy travel online, but when I bought my Chelsea tickets, it popped up asking if I wanted to add travel.
broughtonblue Posted 10 March 2012 Author Posted 10 March 2012 You're right. Rules shouldn't be rules when it comes to you. I'm not saying that, just a bit of descretion! 3000 tickets were never going to sell in 2 hours, also seems those same rules don't apply on their own Internet site!!

foxyblue Posted 10 March 2012 Posted 10 March 2012 Like you have been saying about priority 3 tickets,i went on line 1 minute after 5 o'clock today and got 2 tickets for me and my son in a couple of minutes.Beat's phoning up for about 40 minutes and travelling from Nuneaton to get them tomorrow. All it cost was the price of the tickets + extra £2.94 for booking fee.
Craig Posted 10 March 2012 Posted 10 March 2012 So 3,000 have already gone? Like we've got 3,000 priority 1 and 2. What a load of cock the system currently is
Matt Posted 10 March 2012 Posted 10 March 2012 I had a case of 'Computer say's no' today. I always do. I am and know I am P2, but EVERYTIME i'm told i'm not just because the computer says i'm not, I've proved it and told them to update it but everytime told i'm not, well fuck em' I tried to do it through the book, I went in person they said no, I phoned them they said no, I did it online instead. Now next season I will be P3 because i've been to about 3 away games all season been a very poor showing from me but just havn't really been bothered but that's next season and for the moment I am P2, however much the inept ticket office staff say i'm not.
foxyblue Posted 10 March 2012 Posted 10 March 2012 All i can say is that members should go on line after 2 o'clock tomorrow afternoon on lcfc direct and get their tickets a day early and then general sale do the same just to prove what shite this priority system is.

promised land Posted 11 March 2012 Posted 11 March 2012 the priority system online is different, and the way the system should be in store! How do you work that out then? So what you are saying is a season ticket holder who doesn't support their team away has the same right as one that does and so can get a ticket to the biggest away day of the season. Wrong. The priority system in the store is right and that is how it should be online as well, no doubt when they have fixed the glitch it will be. Attend more away games and get yourself up the list if you want better priority.

1964FOX Posted 11 March 2012 Posted 11 March 2012 So 3,000 have already gone? Like we've got 3,000 priority 1 and 2. What a load of cock the system currently is We have about 900 priority 1 and I was told when I got mine on day one 15 minutes before they closed that nearly every priority 1 had bought one. Day 2 would be close to 2000 priority 2 so it's feasible we could sell nearly 3000 even without the extras that are gained through the priority-less on line system. Don't forget all staff at stadium get automatic priority 3 as an employee so lots will go overnight as well so I can see this close to sell out by the end of today.

I've noticed how they have stopped selling Foxes Travel, so the online system is purely for people who are making their own way their

I was asked if I wanted travel arrangements when I bought mine online the other day. And I just think the club have been very careful about how theyve worded it online.
Matt Posted 11 March 2012 Posted 11 March 2012 Not true. I was asked if I wanted travel arrangements when I bought mine online the other day. And me.

I see where you are coming from, although I rang up once asking for a friends ref number, and she seemed dazzled by the fact I was buying them 2 days before my priority Not true. I was too, but I've bought away tickets online before and they said I couldn't purchase travel

Didn't know you could get married on a Sunday - but congratulations and all the best.
