Ricey Posted 6 July 2005 Posted 6 July 2005 Great signing for Boston, I still think he could cut it in this division.
Carlo Posted 6 July 2005 Posted 6 July 2005 Shame he never quite fulfilled his potential Still remember his goal of the season against Barnsley in the FA cup that year though!!!!
Guest Posted 6 July 2005 Posted 6 July 2005 I think he's about 6 months older than me, but I could be wrong!
Craig Posted 6 July 2005 Posted 6 July 2005 I think he's about 6 months older than me, but I could be wrong! 132789 That's a lie, because i'm sure he ain't 21
Janx Posted 6 July 2005 Author Posted 6 July 2005 He's 30 132794 A bit young to be dropping to that level methinks... like previous poster, still think he can do something in this division, but he isnt an out and out striker IMO, more playing in front of midfield? NOT FOR US THOUGH

Katy Posted 6 July 2005 Posted 6 July 2005 Hes 31 this year I think, I wouldnt mind popping along to see how hes getting on as its just down the road. What is the attraction with Boston, its one of the worst places in the world (sorry Ricey) and yet they managed to nab Gazza last season and Jooooolian this
Hitesh Posted 6 July 2005 Posted 6 July 2005 hes 31 accroding to Ceefax. His worst move was going to Villa i reckon. He had a couple of good seasons and then when Little left his career went downhill. But i hope he does well at Boston. Good luck to him!
Scow Posted 6 July 2005 Posted 6 July 2005 It's sad to see how far he's dropped. Boston are one of the smaller League 2 clubs as well. Walsall or Boston? Actually, they sound as bad as each other.

Actually, they sound as bad as each other. 132990 As I recall Julian's arrival coincided with the mini-run which Walsall puit together at the end of the season which saved them from relegation. Quite prominent he was too according to the Press and a golfing mate of mine who claims to be the remaining Walsall fan. Anyway, he seems to have swopped one going-nowhere set-up for his "local". Probably the last we'll ever here from him in semi-serious football. Shame really. He got the crowd buzzing a bit even if he was either frustrating or injured.
Hazza Posted 6 July 2005 Posted 6 July 2005 I have a soft spot for Walsall and he did very well there, scoring a hat-trick (i think) against Taylor's Hull in the process I'm a bit gutted he didn't go there really, but he'll still be one of my favourite City old boys and i'm hoping he goes on to play for us in the Masters. Boston seem to have got a load of funds from somewhere though, weird.

Molson Canadian Posted 6 July 2005 Posted 6 July 2005 Joachmin and Andy Kirk upfront sounds like a good combination
Ric Flair Posted 6 July 2005 Posted 6 July 2005 Joachmin and Andy Kirk upfront sounds like a good combination 133120 Kirk is at Northampton now.

Ricey Posted 6 July 2005 Posted 6 July 2005 Boston have also signed Ben Futcher from Lincoln, Futcher is someone who had attracted interest from Villa and always looked a great player to me.
Janx Posted 6 July 2005 Author Posted 6 July 2005 wow, my first thread to reach 2 pages!! Hoozah,I feel like I belong ;-)
