I am just playing around seeing what you can do with GIMP (freeware photoshop stuff) got a bit of time on my hands at the mo so I am trying to do something productive with it.

It is not the most intuitative piece of software but if you persevere with it and read a few tutorials you can get quite good at dicking around with images.

Free to download just search for GIMP in google (just not image search what has been seen, can never be unseen).

had it for awhile. not got round to messing around with it yet though. i don't like the multiple window format.

Can anyone who uses Photoshop explain to me how to make the kits using said software? I know earlier I said I was getting the hang of it but I'm really not. I've got loads of templates that I downloaded then extracted using WinRar and all the templates are PNG files, so how do I import them on to Photoshop and then edit them accordingly, I really do not understand all the layers and such. Any help is appreciated. Cheers :thumbup:

Just google 'how to make football shirts on photoshop' and read the tutorials and watch the videos. I did so and am starting to get the hang of it but Ive not come up with any decent designs.

Would like to know how you integrate the badge like AdamN did, to see if it looked any good for the green one.

Be great if the club allowed fan input, the owners would love AdamN's, they could replace our badge with the KP logo

I did the NP one by creating a layer and reduced all the colour to dark blue, then set it as 50% transparent and set it as a layer over a template kit I made. Then it was just a case of resizing it and lining it up and then tidying up the edges and smudging in some of the darker bits in the background

Haha, i've seen some designs from yaself on here, impressive stuff mate!

Once you get the hang of Photoshop it's simple to bang out a decent kit, i did that one in about 10 mins if that :)

It is the traditionalists' argument that only refs should wear black, but it's true to say that Leicester Fosse's first (I think. Certainly a very early one, anyway) shirt was black, making it very traditional.

Seens you have the bug any chance you could do a version of the black and pink kit. Wouldn't mind seeing what it would look like with logo, sponsors etc.

Would prefer King Power and our logo but go for your life, just reckon it would make a change for an away kit.

That looks pretty good. With Black shorts and the pink down the side of them, black socks and 2 pink bars reckon we would be on to a winner.
