Still can't work out how to do something like you did with the badge?

Well here's what I did, baring in mind this might not work for everything...

1. Resize the badge to whatever size you want

2. Cut out the bits you want/don't want

3. Desaturate it (Ctrl+U, set saturation to -100)

4. Set the layer type to Multiply (drop down menu at the top of the layers window, default value is 'Normal')

5. Reduce the opacity to whatever looks right

Ahh cheer, will try it later. Now I've got photoshop I'm using it for all sorts and this will come in handy.

The image above based on the image that a poster said he had heard our template will be the Italy kit.

Same kit without the pattern on.

Think i'm in love with the Italy kit template though

Yes this is the 1! That Italy template is mint!

C'Mon Jace, surely you want to make some more designs, or are you afraid of your GF taking the piss out of your "T shirt game" again? :Plol

Have to say, I was underwhelmed when someone mentioned that Italy shirt, it looked very bland.

But the one Ash has knocked up looks pretty top draw to be honest, wouldn't argue with that.

Good work, Ash, you're getting pretty sharp with the old photoshop now mate.

Thank you Finners. I wouldn't argue with that kit either I just hope the Puma shirts aren't 'skin tight'.

Haha I might make some more in a min, I'm feeling inadequate now though because more and more photoshop designs are appearing and I'm using smartshirt

Now I would pay stupid money for those kits, email to puma, right, now.

We should all upload pics of our faces when the new 4 year JAKO deal is announced next month

Oh god, how gutted would everyone be, here we are designing shirts a genuinely quality kit maker, only for the club to employ a (yet another)company who use bin bags for their shirts.

That shirt was the epitome of shit. Even in that picture it looks like it's about to rip in two.

That picture doesn't even do it justice of how actually wank the quality was! The badges were made of what seemed like very stiff cardboard ironed on with fake stitching around that shield? Can honestly say I've not seen a Sunday league kit worse than that crap

That picture still haunts me. That's the first time I saw that horrible shirt. I can honestly remember thinking, "Why is MM holding some non-league team's shirt?" It's got to be the worst one in the club's history, surely? Can anyone think of a worse one? It's the tacky sponsor logo and the shitty little shield around the club badge that does it.

Weirdly, the sponsor-less Joma one that followed it was one of my favourite kits from recent years. Don't know what the quality was like, but the design was very good.

Couldn't agree more. Amateur doesn't even describe it. We deserved to be relegated for the kit alone lol

I also liked the one we had in the play-off season.

TBH I look at some kits, like when I look at a lot of modern stadiums, and just cannot believe people are well-paid to produce that kind of crap. It's the sheer laziness of some of the designs that's so annoying. They've clearly taken no pride in their work and have just tried to put as little thought and effort in as possible a lot of the time.

Exactly! It's hard to understand how some things are designed so badly when it doesn't cost the designer any more time or money to design something that looks good instead. I mean when it comes to something like football shirts, why should there be really good looking ones, and fugly ones when it takes roughly the same amount of time to do either one?
