What and why do you believe we are being lied to and deceived ?

What do you mean about players not giving 100% who are quick to smell a rat ?

Roswell they did land and they are amongst us.

I think NP Gally and Wellens are three of them and more on the way. IMO lol

If Matt Le Tissier, Eric Cantona or George Best had played for Leicester, do you think they would've been booed for not running around all over the shop?

The OP definitely has passion...but is probably a bit of a twat!*

I didn't bother reading after i read how he spelt "deciet". anyone who doesn't know 'I before E except after C' doesn't deserve to be acknowledged.

Yes but you have . Oh the irony of it all.

i acknowledged his post, not the content therein. which team do you support by the way, derby or forest?

The players don't care about the club, the club don't care about the fans, the fans don't care about the players, it's a vicious circle (I have an idea for a new thread).

To say it is all down to lies deceit is just paranoia, we can all say it is about passion and effort, but there are other factors such as fitness and injuries as well as mental fatigue and pressure that can make a player despite his best efforts look like he is not trying.

This obsession with showing passion and effort is arguably detrimental to the team and should be second behind discipline and professionalism.

Examples of Passion, Matt Mills against birmingham that was a passionate commited enthusiastic tackle that got him sent off. Steve Howard showed a lot of passion to the linesman and got sent off at Palace. Danns showed a lot of passion and committment against Brighton and got sent off in losing cause, which subsequently cost him and extra game of suspension after his most recent otburst of passion.

Passion and committment could also be playing through an injury (King and Gallagher) playing when not fully fit, Konchesky and Wellens can't train everyday but played every game during our mad March except when Konchesky got sent off, most likely due to fatigue and mis-timing a tackle, and Wellens only performed in parts.

Passion is also charging forward with the ball in an effort to make something happen and leaving the defence exposed, it is also charging 100 metres to get in a last ditch tackle making you unable to get forwards for a free kick 5 seconds later.

Passion is letting the dissenting voices in the crowd get to you, affect your performance and cause you to respond with V signs and cupped ear goal celebrations.

What we have lacked is professionalism and discipline, sacrificed for this much covetted passion.

Best post i've read on here for ages.

I wonder if.. whoever is captain at the moment, will apologise to the fans on behalf of the squad for their feeble attempt at promotion this season..they have been given every tool to do the job with, new training ground, new pitch , more money, great pre season tours, great away support..etc..etc the only part of the equation thats bombed is them...big time..

i won't be holding my breath and you listing it like that has hit me like a sledgehammer to my nads.

I think it's more to the point that no gives a shit about who you are or what your opinions are. Just cos you start a stupid topic similar to most of the topics and mindless post that have been said over and over again in the last 5 years doesn't make you special. It's your opinion why do you want an opposition, is this some sort of debating competition you have started to try and inflate your ego?

no wonder you live in oz , arsehole

Yep, that's why i'm the one up in the middle of the night looking for some gratification on an internet forum.

Right so anybody that disagrees with you is just talking poo, then you will never find any valid opinions to the contrary because to you no opinion to the contrary is valid because only you are right and everyone else is wrong.

I will simplify for you. It has not been lack of effort that has cost us this season, we have done enough in every game I have seen or listened to to win, except a few like Reading recently where we second best. What cost us was not the lack of effort, it was a lack of discipline and professionalism, we could have wiped the floor with Milwall but we gave them 2 soft goals from 2 stupid fouls. How many red cards and penalties have cost us dearly this season? Not to mention dressing room bust-ups. We don't need to be running round like headless chickens to beat teams in this league we need to maintain our shape and composure stick to our roles defensively impose our game on them and take our chances that we create, in almost every game this season we have had the majority of possession and more shots on goal, and yet we often don't win. To blame it on a lack of effort and replace skilled players with work horses is not the answer.

Did I not admit the Mills one? But also point out it could be either sides fault.

It is something to keep in mind and keep your eye on, of course it is. But when you don't have any facts at all, and two of the three are flatly denied, I'm not sure it should be used as a stick to batter Pearson with.

If people don't like him that's fine, if people don't like his football, fine. But I'm not sure latching on to rumour helps their case any, it just makes their judgement is clouded with hatred.

Are you pulling rank soldier?

Regardless of the validity of the comment and the actually number of dressing room bust-ups, Mills yes, Beckford, it would have been discussed and dealt with in the dressing room and moved on, having people like Fernandes around when he didn't want to be here, Ball and Johnson just cluttering up the place, SSL wasn't really a bust up, but being placed on the transfer list could have an unsettling effect, Paintsil and Bamba going to the ACON and then coming back much later than anticipated, the fact is at times, you have to admit, as does Babs, that the team hasn't always looked together.

It was something I was expecting for the majority of the season, but I was hoping to see some improvement by now. We essentially had a bunch of strangers playing with each other at the start, then it moves on to being work colleagues, then work mates and eventually you want most of them to be friends. Because if you're on the pitch with a group of friends I think you are going to work that little bit harder for each other.

The stat against Hull was one of the most telling this year. The fact more of their starting 11 played for us last year than our own.

OMG that was good very professional and also disciplined but maybe, and I might be wrong, it lacked a touch of passion.

Hmmm, not sure how to take this...

My post was full of passion, but controlled passion which when posting, like in football, will usually result in a better outcome than letting passion overtake you. I have started so many posts with "Fvck off you fvcking disabled faced, cvntcicle, take your fvcking retarded baseless meaningless rhetoric and shove it back up your gaping bleeding arsehole you useless waste of flesh and bone that would be better served as compost to grow marrows for Katie Price to frig herself stupid with!!!"

But once that is out of my system I normally delete it and am able to make a more coherent point in the vain hope of actually getting to people to realise that they may be mistaken.

It is the same with football, you let your emotions take over and you end up getting sent off, or running yourself into the ground and unable to compete for the full 90 minutes. You have Alan Young advocating Beckford going in for a challenge with the keeper for a ball he can't win in the hope of getting a penalty, and the risk of getting injured. In the last minute of a cup final, maybe, 0-1 away at Peterborough at the arse end of what is already a season doomed to failure why risk an injury for a slim chance of a penalty to get a point that come the end of the season won't make the blindest bit of difference anyway. That's not passion that is stupidity.
