ian the fox Posted 19 April 2012 Posted 19 April 2012 Well its been a crap season in my book , a tale of two managers with contrasting styles And worst of all a season of lies & deceit I believe Pre- season signings looked good enough to secure a play off place at the very least . Superb away wins at Southampton & Norwich when we looked the team we should be , proved we had the capabilty if we cared enough . Thwarted by completely shite performances against teams little more than pub sides , Doncaster & Bristol City & many more , The frustration felt by the fans etched out in some quarters by booing of the team ! Ive supported city all my life & winessed many players that wouldnt get in my pub side ...... What Ive learned from us as supporters in the last 30 odd years , we as Leicester support our team through thick and thin However , we have never tolerated players that are not giving 100 % regardless of class or pedigree & are quick to SMELL A RAT !!!! Sven was never going to be a tea cup thrower & Pearson I believe is trying to instill commitment into a uncaring element of the squad . Unfortunately this team doesnt care enough about the club to be sucessful & needs to be broken up asap The 2011-2012 season in my book as a lie & uncommitted players to which who was to blame & why we will never know . Heres to 2012-2013 seaason and some HONEST Performances , of which I will be there supporting a trying team all the way .
Trav Le Bleu Posted 19 April 2012 Posted 19 April 2012 However , we have never tolerated players that are not giving 100 % regardless of class or pedigree & are quick to SMELL A RAT !!!! I think you'll find that what we actually are is paranoid and deluded.
Guest Posted 19 April 2012 Posted 19 April 2012 Nice use of font, italics and underlining. Was the rant any good anyone?
ian the fox Posted 19 April 2012 Author Posted 19 April 2012 thanks anyone else like to agree or disagree , no more irrelant comment s please
Trav Le Bleu Posted 19 April 2012 Posted 19 April 2012 I wish I could control what other people posted in my threads.
Mark_w Posted 19 April 2012 Posted 19 April 2012 I agree with you, but it doesn't excuse booing the side, certainly not booing a player before they come on.
Zingari Posted 19 April 2012 Posted 19 April 2012 What and why do you believe we are being lied to and deceived ? What do you mean about players not giving 100% who are quick to smell a rat ?
ian the fox Posted 19 April 2012 Author Posted 19 April 2012 just comment either way on the points made , not try to water the points down with irrelavant comments ,
zClarkey Posted 19 April 2012 Posted 19 April 2012 How is it irrelevant by saying I agree with something? I don't have to justify the fact that I'm agreeing, I'm just agreeing...
Mark_w Posted 19 April 2012 Posted 19 April 2012 How is it irrelevant by saying I agree with something? I don't have to justify the fact that I'm agreeing, I'm just agreeing... He was probably replying to the people above you seeing as you posted at practically the same time.
Zingari Posted 19 April 2012 Posted 19 April 2012 I wish I could control what other people posted in my threads. You do know Webbo has to power to facilitate if you pay him a small fee ?
One Arm Babba Posted 19 April 2012 Posted 19 April 2012 Hmmmm... Repitition of the term "pub team". I think a little more creative perhaps along the lines of "Sunday league team" would of upped it to a B- post. As it is, D+ must try harder
ian the fox Posted 19 April 2012 Author Posted 19 April 2012 yes indeed the older post , Hmmmm... Repitition of the term "pub team". I think a little more creative perhaps along the lines of "Sunday league team" would of upped it to a B- post. As it is, D+ must try harder whats that got to do with the points made ?
THEFATBASTARD Posted 19 April 2012 Posted 19 April 2012 I wonder if.. whoever is captain at the moment, will apologise to the fans on behalf of the squad for their feeble attempt at promotion this season..they have been given every tool to do the job with, new training ground, new pitch , more money, great pre season tours, great away support..etc..etc the only part of the equation thats bombed is them...big time..

Ashley Posted 19 April 2012 Posted 19 April 2012 To be honest yes this season is a dissapointment however should West Ham fail to gain promotion there season will be ranked a higher failure than ours. We have had to build a new(ish) squad. Success does not come in an instant just ask Manchester City fans.
shade Posted 19 April 2012 Posted 19 April 2012 I didn't bother reading after i read how he spelt "deciet". anyone who doesn't know 'I before E except after C' doesn't deserve to be acknowledged.
ian the fox Posted 19 April 2012 Author Posted 19 April 2012 Man city are trying to win the prem mate , not get out of this cattle shed of a league , massive difference to be fair to you I didn't bother reading after i read how he spelt "deciet". anyone who doesn't know 'I before E except after C' doesn't deserve to be acknowledged. good point twat
Captain... Posted 19 April 2012 Posted 19 April 2012 The players don't care about the club, the club don't care about the fans, the fans don't care about the players, it's a vicious circle (I have an idea for a new thread). To say it is all down to lies deceit is just paranoia, we can all say it is about passion and effort, but there are other factors such as fitness and injuries as well as mental fatigue and pressure that can make a player despite his best efforts look like he is not trying. This obsession with showing passion and effort is arguably detrimental to the team and should be second behind discipline and professionalism. Examples of Passion, Matt Mills against birmingham that was a passionate commited enthusiastic tackle that got him sent off. Steve Howard showed a lot of passion to the linesman and got sent off at Palace. Danns showed a lot of passion and committment against Brighton and got sent off in losing cause, which subsequently cost him and extra game of suspension after his most recent otburst of passion. Passion and committment could also be playing through an injury (King and Gallagher) playing when not fully fit, Konchesky and Wellens can't train everyday but played every game during our mad March except when Konchesky got sent off, most likely due to fatigue and mis-timing a tackle, and Wellens only performed in parts. Passion is also charging forward with the ball in an effort to make something happen and leaving the defence exposed, it is also charging 100 metres to get in a last ditch tackle making you unable to get forwards for a free kick 5 seconds later. Passion is letting the dissenting voices in the crowd get to you, affect your performance and cause you to respond with V signs and cupped ear goal celebrations. What we have lacked is professionalism and discipline, sacrificed for this much covetted passion.
shade Posted 19 April 2012 Posted 19 April 2012 good point twat good point, twat. also, how do you know I'm a twat?!
Guest Posted 19 April 2012 Posted 19 April 2012 Who’s lying to us and deceiving us? What about? Only El Empty can answer those questions. Now where's that conspiracy theories thread.....
