The People's Hero Posted 20 April 2012 Posted 20 April 2012 Bloody magnificent creatures. (That's an aside by the way)
The Doctor Posted 20 April 2012 Posted 20 April 2012 "Y'know what, Alan Sheehan would really do a job down the left flank here"
The People's Hero Posted 20 April 2012 Author Posted 20 April 2012 Emile Heskey's best position is actually at centre half.
The Doctor Posted 20 April 2012 Posted 20 April 2012 We'd be doing so much better if we were to start utilising Louis Dodds.
The People's Hero Posted 20 April 2012 Author Posted 20 April 2012 We'd be doing so much better if we were to start utilising Louis Dodds. That'll make Louis' night on his nightly googling of his own name ritual.
The Doctor Posted 20 April 2012 Posted 20 April 2012 Better set up a shrine to Andy King so no-one feels left out.
orangecity23 Posted 20 April 2012 Posted 20 April 2012 I like this thread. It has the kind of impact and elusive running that mean it'll never fit in amongst the usual threads, a collection of dourists and nearly men. (Insert vague boat metaphor here)

Insert your own bloody metaphor. What about this: Stephen Clemence might think he looks the deer, but in reality he's more like the miserable boat, stranded in the sky trying to funnel rabbits in to a cortina. Levi Porter on the other hand is the rolls royce of players. He could cajole a whole trunket of bananas from their sweet, sweet slumber which just one verse of a cucumber's origin.

Starting to sound more like the innuendo thread. Olé!
The People's Hero Posted 20 April 2012 Author Posted 20 April 2012 Cracking use of Ole sir. Even included the funny thing over the e. Textbook.
orangecity23 Posted 20 April 2012 Posted 20 April 2012 Cracking use of Ole sir. Even included the funny thing over the e. Textbook. A fine compliment, from the master himself. I said as much when I beat the English squash champion in a match. She was an Asian girl, and we dated for a while. How we'd have laughed to hear about it now, when Sheehan's fizzing crosses, almost chances and nearly goals raining in on the opposition goal like harpoons on a traffic warden.
The People's Hero Posted 20 April 2012 Author Posted 20 April 2012 You're too kind - but I'm retired these days. I did enjoy that post though. I had forgotten about all Alan Sheehan's 'nearly' goals.
The People's Hero Posted 20 April 2012 Author Posted 20 April 2012 What has happened to the ape topic? Errr. It's still here. You just ummm posted in it?
Rincewind Posted 20 April 2012 Posted 20 April 2012 OK I was just expecting more replies on the subject of apes.
The People's Hero Posted 20 April 2012 Author Posted 20 April 2012 That's pretty demanding Ken. What exactly do you want to know? You could contribute your own apey inspired post?
orangecity23 Posted 20 April 2012 Posted 20 April 2012 Yeah, Nightguard, you can't be so demanding. Show a little Gibbon take.
Saxondale Posted 20 April 2012 Posted 20 April 2012 LCFC Chat is a bono-bo area. EDIT: Sorry, that's shit.
The People's Hero Posted 20 April 2012 Author Posted 20 April 2012 Yeah, Nightguard, you can't be so demanding. Show a little Gibbon take. YES YES YES!
Rincewind Posted 20 April 2012 Posted 20 April 2012 Now you're just monkeying around.. Too tired now I also like apes. After all they are our cousins evolutionary speaking. But that may be a different subject altogether. Off bed soon.
