A Letter To The Terrorists, From London

July 07, 2005

londonskyline.jpg

What the fock do you think you're doing?

This is London. We've dealt with your sort before. You don't try and pull this on us.

Do you have any idea how many times our city has been attacked? Whatever you're trying to do, it's not going to work.

All you've done is end some of our lives, and ruin some more. How is that going to help you? You don't get rewarded for this kind of crap.

And if, as your MO indicates, you're an al-Qaeda group, then you're out of your tiny minds.

Because if this is a message to Tony Blair, we've got news for you. We don't much like our government ourselves, or what they do in our name. But, listen very clearly. We'll deal with that ourselves. We're London, and we've got our own way of doing things, and it doesn't involve tossing bombs around where innocent people are going about their lives.

And that's because we're better than you. Everyone is better than you. Our city works. We rather like it. And we're going to go about our lives. We're going to take care of the lives you ruined. And then we're going to work. And we're going down the pub.

So you can pack up your bombs, put them in your arseholes, and get the fock out of our city.

Thats good!

Although its difficult we should stand up and show the world that we arent affected by the attacks. Nothing will stop us living our everday lives! Why should attacks stop us doing that? We need to show the terrorists that it hasnt affected us. This letter is one way of going about it! Good stuff!

MORE than FIFTY people have died, its likely that even more have and will die, hundreds have been injured, thousands have had their lives disturbed and millions are feeling bitterly disapionted, YES, it was a victory for the Islamic insurgents.

If you dont believe me, ask the loved ones of those who died if they won?

No?

Thought not.

If people act defeated then yes, the insurgents have won, but I would hope that the victims and the relatives of those killed, maimed or injured would show defiance to this abhorrent act, therefore not giving them the satisfaction.

Erm I have worked something out for myself. The website which "claims responsibilty" has an error in the quranic verse which is something Al-Qaeda are very highly unlikely to do.

A group calling itself "The Secret Organization of Al Qaeda in Europe" posted a statement on an internet site, claiming responsibility for the deadly attacks that hit London on Thursday.

But MSNBC TV translator Jacob Keryakes said that the statement in which the group claimed responsibility for the attacks contained an error in one of the Qura’nic verses it cited. That suggests that the claim is phony, he said.

"This is not something Al Qaeda would do," he said.

The group said the attacks were "in response to the massacres carried out by Britain in Iraq and Afghanistan."

The statement threatened similar attacks in Italy and Denmark.

The group, claiming to be Al Qaeda wing in Europe claimed responsibility for the last major attacks in Europe, including the string of bombs that shook commuter trains in Madrid, Spain in March 2004, killing 191 people.

Two days after that attack, a video was released with a statement purported to be from the group's spokesman, calling himself "Abu Dujan.

"We warned the British government and the British people repeatedly. We have carried out our promise and carried out a military attack in Britain."

"We continue to warn the governments of Denmark and Italy and all crusader governments that they will receive the same punishment if they do not withdraw their troops from Iraq and Afghanistan," the statement added.

The statement was signed "The Secret Organization of Al Qaeda in Europe."

I'm just taking the word from a reliable source like your taking someone's word that Al-Qaeda are behind the attacks. However, any individual who can think for themselves knows that anyone in the world could have put that site together.

Do you think the families of those who have been killed feel a loss right now?

Don't be so bloody stupid!

Of course there are families who are grieving, and rightly so. There are families who will be wondering how they can support relatives who will be permanently disabled, or shocked by the events which took place yesterday.

But if the rest of us are going to get hysterical, then the insurgents have won. If we don't stiffen our upper lips, gird our loins, and get back to normality, then again they've won.

Don't get me wrong, I was in tears yesterday, but today we draw strength from our resolve, and from those victims who in the coming months will overcome their injuries, whether physical or mental, and vow not to give in to the actions of those who, in all intents and purposes, are bullies of the worst kind.

I'm lucky not to know anyone involved yesterday to any degree. I will not be looking over my shoulder and giving those responsible the satisfaction of my fear.

Does the username Dunabuggy mean anything to you?
