Guest Posted 14 July 2012 Posted 14 July 2012 A lot of people seem to need more training on roundabouts. I find it unbelievable the amount of times someone goes in the left lane to turn right. What planet are these people on? If you're going straight on, I can understand a bit of confusion as to where you should be, but when you're going right, for gods sake, isn't it pretty obvious that you should be in the right hand lane. Also intensely dislike drivers who want a whole universe to open up before pulling out at a busy junction. Also people who are over-generous in rush hour and let people out/across/through when there is no call for it and by doing so ruin the flow of traffic. Also people tailgating on dual carriageways/motorways instead of just overtaking. Also people who have no conviction when breaking and all you can see is their break lights flashing on and off, either you are breaking or you're not, dickhead. Anyone who drives more than 20% away from a speed limit in either direction. ****ing speed bumps make me rage as they ruin my car while I am driving at a perfectly legal speed. You don't let your wife/girlfriend/mother drive your car.
MooseBreath Posted 14 July 2012 Posted 14 July 2012 95/100 You drive a German car You don't let your wife/girlfriend/mother drive your car. 60, no, and absolutely not.
FoxesAreBlue Posted 14 July 2012 Posted 14 July 2012 God this thread makes me realise just how many elements of driving I can't stand and yet, I love being in my (albeit crappy) car.
stix Posted 14 July 2012 Posted 14 July 2012 Also people tailgating on dual carriageways/motorways instead of just overtaking. Try getting out of the middle lane then. and it's braking not breaking.
MooseBreath Posted 14 July 2012 Posted 14 July 2012 Try getting out of the middle lane then. Even if I was in the middle lane, that doesn't justify endangering everyone when there's another lane which allows you to overtake. Two wrongs don't make a right, which is why when somebody tailgates me like that, i'll slow right down, forcing them to finally overtake, before speeding up so that they can't, and then repeating the process until they stop driving like a complete twat. Three wrongs don't make a right either, but at least it's fun.

AoWW Posted 14 July 2012 Posted 14 July 2012 I followed a bloke for over 14 miles the other day. He was sat in the 'fast' lane doing between 60-65mph in broad daylight and perfect weather conditions. There were plenty of opportunities for him to safely move over into the other lane. He only moved over when he was taking the next exit. I was not a happy bunny.
MooseBreath Posted 14 July 2012 Posted 14 July 2012 Ah, you're one of those wánkers. You are endangering other drivers just the same as they are by driving like that. Get in line bitch. If somebody is going to be reckless with my life for no reason then yes, i will be one of those wankers all day long. If you're going to provoke people on the road for no reason at all then you shouldn't be allowed on the road. I only mess with them as a way of showing them how much of a tosser they are and how nobody respects them. I am very careful to only endanger myself and the twat, if there is a risk of anyone else getting involved then I won't do it, i'll just give the other driver the willy puller sign as he drives by.

Eye for an eye and all that.... Dickhead
MooseBreath Posted 14 July 2012 Posted 14 July 2012 Eye for an eye and all that.... Dickhead You seem mad. Are you one of those drivers? Why don't you explain why you don't use the lane designed for overtaking to overtake? Do you think tailgating makes you seem big and brave? Because almost of the guys i've seen doing it drive crappy poverty cars and are scared shitless as soon as they see a full size man and not a woman in the car they're tailgating. They are always total cowards, tiny little men trying to compensate for their small penis with aggression which they hope they will never be held accountable for.
Daggers Posted 14 July 2012 Posted 14 July 2012 And so, Dave The Moose obtains another notch for his belt
Daggers Posted 14 July 2012 Posted 14 July 2012 Eye for an eye and all that.... Dickhead Don't make this an easy game of 'Pick up Stix' for Moosey; I'd wager there's less than 5% truth in any of his posts.

Why do you not use the overtaking lanes for overtaking? and not sitting in holding everybody else up? I use the motorway every night to get to work, and it really narks me when people hog the middle lane when the inside lane is free. Maybe the guys that get all up in your grille are trying to send you a message? Get into the other lane. I'm not one of those wánkers, and my penis is very much within the national average as far as size goes.
MooseBreath Posted 14 July 2012 Posted 14 July 2012 The middle lane thing only annoys me if the person in the middle lane is going particularly slowly. If they're going 70mph then I don't see a problem. The inside lane can be quite dangerous what with old people and heavy goods vehicles going very slowly and the constant junctions. The way I see it, the inside lane is for slow vehicles and entering/exiting the motorway, the middle lane is for normal up to the speed limit driving and the outside lane is for people in a hurry. There are three lanes, what difference does it make if you've got to go from middle to outside instead of inside to middle to overtake?

The way you see it.... ...No, when you stick in the middle lane doing 70mph, regardless of whether that is the speed limit or not, you are still preventing the free-flow of traffic. Whether or not you agree to the fact that people WILL drive faster than 70mph on the motorway, that isnt upto you to take the law into your own hands and try to prevent them from going over the speed limit. Just pull aside and let them get on with it. Agreed, initially they're the ones driving incorrectly, but by purposely changing your speed to MAKE them brake is just as bad. IMO obviously.
Vacamion Posted 15 July 2012 Posted 15 July 2012 my penis is very much within the national average as far as size goes. Best. Post. Ever.
Stay Positive Posted 15 July 2012 Posted 15 July 2012 50/100. The only two things that really irritate me (being tailgated and cyclists going through red lights) I gave 10/10 to, but still ended up with "tolerant driver", which is true, most of the time. If it had put "people who don't acknowledge you after you've clearly pulled over for them", my score would have been somewhat higher...

Those idiots that just sit in the middle lane are the WORST drivers on the motorway. You are supposed to drive on the left and overtake on the right. How you can complain about people overtaking you on the left is laughable - they should never have that possibility.

Both the middle lane and third lane are designed for overtaking. YOU are supposed to drive in the inside lane unless overtaking. You do have a hangup about poor people and rich people don't you? May I ask what your job is and how much you earn? Do I get immediate respect from you if I earn more than you?

Now I understand. you have either never read, forgotten or never understood the highway code. The way you see it doesn't matter you are wrong. Drive in the inside lane unless overtaking. And fool, other people have to go from the inside lane to the outside lane to the inside lane just to overtake you. You are more of a danger than "the old people and HGV"
Guesty Posted 15 July 2012 Posted 15 July 2012 66/100 tolerant driver means this test is flawed. I get so wound up all my mates joke about it. There was no question about people not indicating, that winds me right up on roundabouts.
ADK Posted 15 July 2012 Posted 15 July 2012 i got 81/100 I do dislike all forms of unsafe driving as alot of accidents are caused by people deliberately driving in a way that is unsafe.
