Bert Posted 7 November 2012 Share Posted 7 November 2012 Kasper 7 - A few good saves, and his kicking was great tonight. RDL 6 - Nothing poor, but nothing great. Konch 5 - Was doing ok, worked well with Lloyd. Morgan 7 - Dealt with Davies well. Keane 6 - A few iffy clearances but looks promising. Knockaert 6 - Always a threat on the ball, sometimes holds onto it too long. Dyer 7 - finally utilised his pace, if only his final ball was good, we'd have a great player on our hands. King 6 - quiet, but industrious. Tidy. Drinkwater 6 - see King. Nugent 6 - should've scored although that may be harsh as it was at the other end. Works hard as always. Waghorn 8 - just needs a goal. But he was fantastic tonight. Looks up for the battle, string, works hard and looked dangerous. Schlupp 6 - did his job well enough after seemingly being targeted. Worked well with Lloyd. Mythyaar Posted 7 November 2012 Share Posted 7 November 2012 KS 7 (some great saves, one scary moment) De Laet 4 (there is a disconnect between him and the rest of the team, he adversely impacts on Knockaert as he has zero creativity) Morgan 7 (good as ever) Keane 4 (poor, make that very poor) Konch 6 (him and Dyer, great combo) Knocky 6 (was frustrated by poor players either side of him De Laet and Waghorn, couple of sublime passes in particular to Nugent in box second half) DD 5 (worst I've seen him play) King 6 (not bad) Dyer 8 (brilliant, particularly tracking back and tackling and also going forward. If all players had his passion, commitment and dedication we'd be a shoe in for automatic promotion) Nugent 6 (Not bad, had a go) Waghorn 5 (Worked hard, but sorry, he's not a striker and he has not got a football brain) Moore 5 (didn't do much) Schlupp 8 (fantastic performance when he came on, he is quality and should be an automatic start) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Knockaert 7 was a threat all night, love seeing him run at players & his close control was exceptional. He does lose the ball or try some silly skills when he shouldn't, but at least he tries to be different & create. Dyer 7 looked alright troubled them with his pace a bit, but didn't create much King 6 quiet game, I think he is capable of more I would like to see him take more chances with killer passes. Drinkwater 6 thinks he is Paul Scholes with his turs in centre mid, but needs to create more or be more adventueous Nugent 6 runs around alot which I like, but should have been more alert in the first 10 seconds and may have had himself a goal. Never really looked as if he was going to score. He needs to be in better positions and give his supply more options. Waghorn 8 MOTM looking like his old self, worked hard & when he gets his first goal that should open the flood gates, great to see! Schlupp 6 asked to do a job & he did, out of pos. So relieved he didn't score When he had any time on the ball it was HOOF, however he did make a few decent headers & blocks, basicaly the same as he was when he was at LCFC, sh*t! dpjfox Posted 7 November 2012 Share Posted 7 November 2012 Kasper 8 good saves few dodgy moments but i always felt confident hed keep a clean sheet RDL 6 decent first half, especially going forward, hit the bar and also should have won us a penalty Wes 8 solid captains performance Keane 6 looked decent accomplished footballer not the tallest but stood up to their bullies Konch 6 didnt lookhis usual good self to me, maybe pulled his hamstring early on Knockaert 8 certainly up for this game, always wanted the ball and always looked dangerous Drinkwater 6 provided much needed intensity and energy but gave the ball away a lot King 6 industrious performance did ok defensively and almost scored Dyer 6 a few good pacey moments but no killer final ball Nugent 6 worked hard but isolated Waghorn 6 worked hard but not Nugents perfect strike partner subs Schlupp 7 played well defensively and going forward Moore 6 slotted in ok and defended well when they pushed forward Lingard not on long enough to judge In summary a good team performance (indeed local papers hail us as easily the best visiting team thus far They had a solid defence (Knight and Mills played well) although their keeper was MOTM. If we keep up this level of performance we will be ok. Hopefully Vardy is back soon not only to provide Nugent with his favoured strike partner but to provide the team with a good first line of defence.
