Never played a Prem match and gets an England cap. Would NEVER have happened even just a few years ago. Not saying the kid doesn't have potential, but he should not be getting in England squads yet.

We have just got roundly beat by Sweden and all I am hearing is "lot of positives from that game for England"...that literally sums up where we are as a footballing nation for me right now

Roundly beat? We controlled the game until the mass substitutions. Without Ibrahimovic Sweden wouldn't have come close to even getting a draw tonight, let alone a win.

However, the performance doesn't hide the fact that we are struggling to put together a good performance with a good win, especially against decent opposition. We have been playing dreadfully of late but avoiding defeat, but tonight where we played well, we lost. Not remotely good enough.
