Guest shearfox Posted 14 November 2012 Posted 14 November 2012 Fvcking hell, Ibra is incredible. We know he has been around a long time...
foxesfan1989 Posted 14 November 2012 Posted 14 November 2012 Strange really as this has been one of the best England performances I've seen in a while. It is strange that you think that yeah
Ashley Posted 14 November 2012 Posted 14 November 2012 Best goal I have ever seen. ****ing brilliant goal. How much did he have too do there? 30 yards out? Back to goal, on an angle. Omfg
HEGGSY Posted 14 November 2012 Posted 14 November 2012 Ibra 4 - 2 England Absolute world class performance.
leicesterisme Posted 14 November 2012 Posted 14 November 2012 A footballing masterclass from an absolute god. Zlatan
Guest BlueBrett Posted 14 November 2012 Posted 14 November 2012 Hart really is shit. To think some people were actually suggesting he might be the world's best keeper a couple of months ago
casablancas Posted 14 November 2012 Posted 14 November 2012 Zlatan still doesn't look as though he cares haha. God love him !!
foxesfan1989 Posted 14 November 2012 Posted 14 November 2012 Hart really is shit. To think some people were actually suggesting he might be the world's best keeper a couple of months ago Knee jerk reaction. Has your long term memory gone?
Webbo Posted 14 November 2012 Posted 14 November 2012 Disappointing without the 6 subs we'd have won that easily, without Ibrahmovic Sweden are Scotland.
Ross-Kemp Posted 14 November 2012 Posted 14 November 2012 ****ing brilliant goal. How much did he have too do there? 30 yards out? Back to goal, on an angle. Omfg I've seen some unbelievable tekkers and some outrageous goals (bergkamp, van persie, knockeart) but that, that was truly top drawer.
marko Posted 14 November 2012 Posted 14 November 2012 Zlatan is god, England are shit. You obviously watched a different game to me. It was a pretty promising performance with young fringe players, and but for two poor pieces of 'keeping from Hart, we'd have drawn that match.
BlueSi13 Posted 14 November 2012 Posted 14 November 2012 Disgusting result. A draw would have been bad enough but to lose 4-2 is a total joke. England's dreadful run of form continues, especially against the top teams who we NEED to be beating regularly to restore some of our shattered confidence. Doesn't matter one jot that this is a friendly. Tonight has just highlighted the difference a top striker makes though, Sweden have been utter toilet and we battered them for 90 minutes, however whereas we lack any sort of quality up front, Sweden have one star player whose beaten us single handedly. Where is our next Shearer, Sheringham, Owen, Cole, Ferdinand, Fowler, Wright etc coming from?
Guest shearfox Posted 14 November 2012 Posted 14 November 2012 Disappointing without the 6 subs we'd have won that easily, without Ibrahmovic Sweden are Scotland. Agreed, completely lost our way, far too many subs so close together... Allowed Sweden a sniff and a player of Ibrahimović class can't be left against an inexperienced backline like that. We played a lot of young and fringe players tonight well done lads good performance overall against a full strength side...
foxesfan1989 Posted 14 November 2012 Posted 14 November 2012 You obviously watched a different game to me. It was a pretty promising performance with young fringe players, and but for two poor pieces of 'keeping from Hart, we'd have drawn that match. I was deliberately over-simplifying but I didn't see a good performance out there. Just a load of players looking like they have never played together before (mainly because they haven't) plus a bunch of individual errors. England are not exactly shit, but we have problems.
Vacamion Posted 14 November 2012 Posted 14 November 2012 I thought we were fine. Much though it pains me to use the word, we were beaten by a couple of worldies from Ibrahimavic, and poor Joe H had an off night. Don't panic, Woy. Our kids did alright and one or two of the debutants had a baptism of fire against a world class attacker...
purpleronnie Posted 14 November 2012 Posted 14 November 2012 Love our fans applauding their goal...were so polite.
Libertine Dream Posted 14 November 2012 Posted 14 November 2012 Tonight shows Casillas is still better
purpleronnie Posted 14 November 2012 Posted 14 November 2012 Disappointing without the 6 subs we'd have won that easily, without Ibrahmovic Sweden are Scotland. well they both won.
foxesfan1989 Posted 14 November 2012 Posted 14 November 2012 The big man knows: Joseph Barton â€@Joey7Barton As much as I want to be positive about England, I can't. Just cannot ever imagine us having a side to threaten for a trophy. Ever...
Danno Posted 14 November 2012 Posted 14 November 2012 Unbelievable. Joe hart has been awful this season. Has he really? Did you see him V Dortmund?
foxesfan1989 Posted 14 November 2012 Posted 14 November 2012 We have just got roundly beat by Sweden and all I am hearing is "lot of positives from that game for England"...that literally sums up where we are as a footballing nation for me right now
Guest shearfox Posted 14 November 2012 Posted 14 November 2012 The big man knows: Joseph Barton â€@Joey7Barton As much as I want to be positive about England, I can't. Just cannot ever imagine us having a side to threaten for a trophy. Ever... I agree playing young inexperienced players and losing is just a recipe for disaster, they will never get better... Many of them still better than Barton though...
