Saxondale Posted 21 November 2012 Posted 21 November 2012 Who gives a fvck about that daft cow's opinion anyway? She is somebody who didn't win a game show several years ago. My neighbour's dog's opinion is of as much significance.
MPH Posted 22 November 2012 Posted 22 November 2012 And let anyone who can't afford it suffer painfully. USA! USA! I cant talk for every US city or hospital system...... But here in NC anyone who isnt working and below a certain wage gets looked after.. if not by the government then by the hospitals themselves... Younger than 18? free healthcare... older than 65? free healthcare... anyone in the middle who enters into a grey area? the hospitals run a charity fund. the hospital itself will pay a % of the cost depending on how much you earn. i know someone recently who isnt working got 100% of their hospital visit paid for by the hospital itself... As for those who are working... I earn twice as much here in the states for doing the exact same job as i dis in England... much less taxes too... Sales tax here is like 7%.. England if i am not mistaken VAT is 19.5%? 65% tax on petrol in England too.. its not even a third of that in the states,,, I can more than afford the heavily subsidised health insurance i get through my job....
