Guest MattP Posted 7 December 2012 Posted 7 December 2012 Personally I dont see the Eredivisie as being any better than the Championship. I don't think the 4th place in the Championship could draw 2-2 at Man City and beat them 3-1 at home. I imagine there is some shit at the bottom but I'm sure it's a far higher standard overall than the division we are in.
Guest Posted 7 December 2012 Posted 7 December 2012 Why are there 3 pages of this? You've been on FT before right?
muzzy1981 Posted 7 December 2012 Posted 7 December 2012 Well, that's bollocks. Who has he paid over £1m for then? Knocky was undisclosed fee so £2m is hear say.
The People's Hero Posted 7 December 2012 Posted 7 December 2012 Why are there 3 pages of this? Only a certain amount of posts (20 for me) fit on each page, where the number of posts in a thread exceeds 20, there are multiple pages. A good equation for calculating the amount of pages required is as follows: Where number of posts = p and number of pages = y p/20 = y Note. You must round Y UP to the nearest upwards whole number.
Babylon Posted 7 December 2012 Posted 7 December 2012 Who has he paid over £1m for then? Knocky was undisclosed fee so £2m is hear say. Aaron McLean Richie Wellens
The People's Hero Posted 7 December 2012 Posted 7 December 2012 Sweet Grayson's Chin, is this thread still going?
stevelcfc Posted 7 December 2012 Posted 7 December 2012 I did say Guidetti on some other thread a while back, personally I think he will go to a lower club in the prem, or another division.
J.Lisemore Posted 7 December 2012 Posted 7 December 2012 Dont see why he wouldn't come, the Championship is full of quality nowadays and we're flying.
muzzy1981 Posted 8 December 2012 Posted 8 December 2012 Aaron McLean Richie Wellens Wiki Wellens made 97 appearances, scoring 10 times, during his spell with Doncaster prior to his £1,000,000 move to Leicester City. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/h/hull_city/9312976.stm Says more than a mill but prob not much more. Players Pearson has paid £1m for include: Morgan, Drinks, Marsh, Vardy, James, De Laet. He did the same at hull. It's a good policy to buy more unknown players and make them into stars rather than pay through the nose for in form players ie Charlie Austin
bluesbrothers Posted 8 December 2012 Posted 8 December 2012 I thought the general consensus was that Anthony cost over £2 million. And the cost of police bail. Still worth every penny.
