Guest BlueBrett Posted 10 February 2013 Posted 10 February 2013 Yeh that's probably fair. They haven't exactly been the tidiest so far but at least they're keeping them straight
Finnegan Posted 10 February 2013 Author Posted 10 February 2013 Yeh that's probably fair. They haven't exactly been the tidiest so far but at least they're keeping them straight We've had two wheel and about three collapse! Where the ball is claimable the refs just letting it go. Brian Moore loves it.
Finnegan Posted 10 February 2013 Author Posted 10 February 2013 Moore "This is pathetic, either all kick off or let each other go."
Finnegan Posted 10 February 2013 Author Posted 10 February 2013 England are going to win easily Very brave call. For all of Ireland's ill discipline and mistakes, England don't look like scoring a try. If Ireland actually show up in the second half this game's wide open.

If Ireland actually show up in the second half this game's wide open. I don't see either of them scoring a try. Unless Ireland get a 70 yard breakaway and we miss a couple of tackles. Can see it being decided by the boot and the margin staying pretty much where it is now or maybe going out to 9
leicsmac Posted 10 February 2013 Posted 10 February 2013 Healy is a dirty cvnt. Not exactly been a classic so far, going to be a very low-scoring finish.
Uncle Albert Posted 10 February 2013 Posted 10 February 2013 Healy is a dirty cvnt. Not exactly been a classic so far, going to be a very low-scoring finish. The Irish pundit saying it wasn't a Red but Haskell's "forearm smash" was! Absolute Bell End.
leicsmac Posted 10 February 2013 Posted 10 February 2013 The Irish pundit saying it wasn't a Red but Haskell's "forearm smash" was! Absolute Bell End. I've got used to biased rugby punditry - sat through too many matches with Brian Moore co-commentating. Would be nice to have a little objectivity but how anyone cannot say that is at least a yellow is beyond me.
Finnegan Posted 10 February 2013 Author Posted 10 February 2013 Healy's stamp was never a red. Bit of overly enthusiastic rucking.
leicsmac Posted 10 February 2013 Posted 10 February 2013 Healy's stamp was never a red. Bit of overly enthusiastic rucking. You can't prove intent but I reckon there was some there. Defo yellow, maybe red depending on ref.
Finnegan Posted 10 February 2013 Author Posted 10 February 2013 You can't prove intent but I reckon there was some there. Defo yellow, maybe red depending on ref. You're never getting sent off for that. He's well within his right to be rucking there, even Moore would admit that. It probably should have been yellow, it was dangerous, but it's being overhyped.

Guest BlueBrett Posted 10 February 2013 Posted 10 February 2013 Is O'Gara so afraid of contact that he is going to kick it every single time he sees the ball?
Finnegan Posted 10 February 2013 Author Posted 10 February 2013 Is O'Gara so afraid of contact that he is going to kick it every single time he sees the ball? That's Rodge.
leicsmac Posted 10 February 2013 Posted 10 February 2013 Hmmm...now that was a marginal yellow. Can you prove intent with respect to Haskell kicking the ball away as he moved away there?
FoxyPV Posted 10 February 2013 Posted 10 February 2013 Is O'Gara so afraid of contact that he is going to kick it every single time he sees the ball? Couldn't break his way out of a wet paper bag. All square. Hmmm...now that was a marginal yellow. Can you prove intent with respect to Haskell kicking the ball away as he moved away there? He clearly tried to kick, EVEN Moore admitted it.
Finnegan Posted 10 February 2013 Author Posted 10 February 2013 quite clearly knew what he was doing, not exactly the Neil Back school of subtlety. Is BlueBrett still confident England are going to piss this?

Is BlueBrett still confident England are going to piss this? I wouldn't have minded seeing it again to be sure. Anyhow the ref made the call and that's it. Since when was Neil Back subtle? Always thought England were going to have a hard time here, never travel well to Dublin.
Guest BlueBrett Posted 10 February 2013 Posted 10 February 2013 Half a shout of a pen try? Manu getting pushed before he grabbed the ball and arguably that prevented him from doing so
