Guest Posted 3 February 2013 Posted 3 February 2013 Italy are sure to win at least 1 game this tournament. Doubt whether it'll be against France but you never know. It's the last 20 minutes when Italy have trouble holding up against the deeper nations.
Guest BlueBrett Posted 3 February 2013 Posted 3 February 2013 England are doing a fair job of raising Scotland's hopes What are Scotland's hopes? Not to lose every game? This match is bloody boring. School boy stuff. I think I actually saw an American Football game that was less dull once.
FoxyPV Posted 3 February 2013 Posted 3 February 2013 Forza Italia Castrogiovanni!!!! Orquera has had a hell of a game so far.
Guest BlueBrett Posted 3 February 2013 Posted 3 February 2013 Come on Italy! The only thing that can save this dire spectacle is a shock result
Haydos Posted 3 February 2013 Posted 3 February 2013 France look like they don't want to be there at the moment.
Finnegan Posted 3 February 2013 Author Posted 3 February 2013 Christ, if they're this crap next week our tournament might not be over after all. What the hell, France?
Guest BlueBrett Posted 3 February 2013 Posted 3 February 2013 Italy need to cool it when they get the ball. They look so frantic but they don't need to score again. Just hold onto it ffs!
FoxyPV Posted 3 February 2013 Posted 3 February 2013 FFS Italy. Finners - knowing France they'll ****ing tank you next week. FORZA ITALIA
Guest BlueBrett Posted 3 February 2013 Posted 3 February 2013 Brilliant! The French didn't see that coming
pSinatra Posted 3 February 2013 Posted 3 February 2013 Well done Italy.......deserved!! Great result for England & the Irish.
Finnegan Posted 3 February 2013 Author Posted 3 February 2013 FFS Italy. Finners - knowing France they'll ****ing tank you next week. FORZA ITALIA innit. Something like twelve changes to personnel, Trinh Duc, Clerc and co' back in and they'll win by eighty points. Massive mixed feelings. Thrilled for a brilliant Italy but a bit concerned that the frogs have had their wobble already!!
Guest Posted 3 February 2013 Posted 3 February 2013 Great win. Italian clubs have been pushing decent teams at home this season. It was only time before the Italian side picked up a big scalp, surprised France played so badly. Italy could be top of the league after next week!
The Doctor Posted 3 February 2013 Posted 3 February 2013 you won I didn't see that coming (the italy result, not the Al's English joke).
Guest Posted 8 February 2013 Posted 8 February 2013 Manu and Waldrom on the bench for England this weekend. That last 20 minutes could be a Tigers tidalwave.
Guest BlueBrett Posted 8 February 2013 Posted 8 February 2013 A very interesting weekend in prospect. Think I'll be going for Italy, France, England but all 3 could easily go the other way
Finnegan Posted 8 February 2013 Author Posted 8 February 2013 If Ireland play like they did last week I can't see England winning in Dublin. As long as they aren't complacent I think that Irish side have enough to see you off. England weren't always convincing against Scotland while Ireland were simply ruthless in the first half hour in Cardiff. I'm saying Ireland by a score. France will need another spectacularly hopeless performance to lose to us, mind. Les Bleu by ten unless our defence is monster. I fancy Scotland to have enough at home to do the Italians, n'all. Were it in Rome then fair enough but an industrious performance against a sloppy France side will be a much different game to having to play a do or die Wooden Spoon contest against Scott Johnson's side at Murrayfield.

Guest Posted 8 February 2013 Posted 8 February 2013 I think there is really very little to choose between England, Ireland, France and Wales. With that belief I'll fancy the home team to win whenever these teams meet. France are the most inconsistent team in the world. They can beat or lose to any team in the world on any given day. I expect them to bounce back from their poor display last week and being at home I'd have thought they should beat Wales this weekend. England put on the best all round performance of any team in the first round of games (IMO) but they're going to Ireland who put on the best half game performance last weekend. Ireland should win but I'll take England with Manu and Waldrom coming on for the last 20 or 30 minutes to swing it for them. Scotland are the weakest team in the tournament and have been for years. That's another reason not to overrate England's game last weekend. They're at home and they should beat the Italians but this is Italy's chance to actually top the six Nation's table and I reckon they'll take it. Scotland MUST get their couple of very good backs into the game to win.
FoxyPV Posted 8 February 2013 Posted 8 February 2013 I can see Italy winning again. It will be tight as Scotland showed for periods against England that they can play good rugby, yet if Italy play like they did last week, they'll win. Wales will get beat by France, for no other reason than they got humbled at home last week to Italy. If they put on two poor performances back to back I'd be very surprised. I think Ireland will beat England but I'm not confident.
FoxyPV Posted 9 February 2013 Posted 9 February 2013 It's not tight at all. Scotland 27 - 3 up. Scotland score a breakaway try to more or less win the game.
Finnegan Posted 9 February 2013 Author Posted 9 February 2013 Unbelievable run in from Hogg. Really so impressed with the lad, I hope he makes the Lion's tour even if he's only in the midweek team. Shocking from Orquera though, takes far too long to pick his pass and then signposts it. Butchered Masi's good work. Ps: called it! Pps: shut up, Andy Nicholl, Scotland are still shit.

Scotland have been impressive in this 6N. They are moving the ball quickly and looking to play attacking rugby. BTW the Scotland top
