Guest Posted 2 February 2013 Posted 2 February 2013 6N - sloppy naming!!!! bit like the Welsh team in the first half
Guest Posted 2 February 2013 Posted 2 February 2013 It wasn't even that good a comeback. Two scores behind at the end!
Finnegan Posted 2 February 2013 Author Posted 2 February 2013 6N - sloppy naming!!!! bit like the Welsh team in the first half You must be the only rugby fan I know that doesn't know what 6N stands for. And dear me, have you been taking "banter" lessons from kingfox matey?
Tielemans63 Posted 2 February 2013 Posted 2 February 2013 B'OD - unbelievable talent. Apparently he's finished. The welsh must be kicking themselves.

pSinatra Posted 2 February 2013 Posted 2 February 2013 A real shame for Wales that they started so incredibly badly. You wait all year & that happens.......over before it has began. I was hopeful of Wales v England being a Grand Slam decider

I was hopeful of Wales v England being a Grand Slam decider Yeah one of the guys I work with, English like, was talking to me about the same thing when the fixtures came out. But after our recent run of form and without Gats we were always there for the taking. Credit where its due, BOD and Best in particular were immense and Ireland defended like heroes in the second half. You can't give a side a thirty point head start before turning up, though. We do have a habit of relying on our fitness to come from behind but doing it with a ten to fifteen point deficit is a bit different to doing it when you've lost at half time.
The Doctor Posted 2 February 2013 Posted 2 February 2013 Yes - knicking New Zealand's unwanted is a great move.

It was always going to take a bit of luck for both sides. I can't see any team going undefeated or showing the level of consistency needed. I suppose the championship is still up for grabs........for what it's worth. England are doing a fair job of raising Scotland's hopes.
Finnegan Posted 2 February 2013 Author Posted 2 February 2013 We needed to win today, really. Even if nobody does the slam we aren't likely to end our losing streak in Paris.
FoxyPV Posted 2 February 2013 Posted 2 February 2013 That was touch and go for a while. Heroic defence and sensational first half saw us through. I'm concerned about the attitude after we scored straight after half time because we just eased off enough to let Wales back in. Some ill discipline could have cost us dear. Any way onwards and upwards! Bollocks England have just scored a try
Finnegan Posted 2 February 2013 Author Posted 2 February 2013 Jesus, imagine if you had North's strength and Stu Hogg's pace in one winger. Phwoarh.
The Doctor Posted 2 February 2013 Posted 2 February 2013 Been a pretty good first half. Some sloppy mistakes mind (no names, Denton.) Still, can't see England winning the tournament on this display.
Simmo86 Posted 2 February 2013 Posted 2 February 2013 Not impressed by England. Shit defence, shit finishing and some pretty shoddy handling. Decent game though
kingfox Posted 2 February 2013 Posted 2 February 2013 Pundits don't know anything, which one said it will be close think England will win by a point. 1 point, might of been Guscott. Comfortable win by a big margin, Leicester lads were brilliant, good performance from Ben Youngs.
The Doctor Posted 2 February 2013 Posted 2 February 2013 Had to bugger off to work at the start of the second half - do I want to know what the final score was?

Guest Posted 3 February 2013 Posted 3 February 2013 62% possession AND 69% territory. Tells the story.
FoxyPV Posted 3 February 2013 Posted 3 February 2013 FORZA ITALIA!!!!!! Parisse converts a brilliant break!
