Haydos Posted 24 February 2013 Posted 24 February 2013 What was O'Gara thinking there? Need a replay. Wasn't that crazy an idea, he should be executing it better with his skill and experience. Edit: Just missed the replay typing this.

Edit: Just missed the replay typing this. He's putting it in to an area where two Scottish players were closing in quickly, was always a dangerous and risky move.

The Doctor Posted 24 February 2013 Posted 24 February 2013 Knock on!! Get in! Absolutely robbed the Irish though, they should have won by 10-15 points at least.
I am Rod Hull Posted 24 February 2013 Posted 24 February 2013 What a finish, even I was biting my nails and i`m English
Guest Posted 24 February 2013 Posted 24 February 2013 Well at least the game turned into one worth watching. two very second rate teams. Far from the Ireland of the first two games. That kicker was a real joke but even then Ireland should have been out of sight by halftime. Decent defense throughout by the Scots and then a kicker who could score chip shots. Still first back to back wins in the six nations for 10 years for the Scots. you didn't mention that fact Al.
Tielemans63 Posted 24 February 2013 Posted 24 February 2013 I think the Irish deserve massive credit for throwing that game away. Impressive stuff.

Guest Posted 24 February 2013 Posted 24 February 2013 Relevance of that to Wales form in Scotland is? The square root of the integrated hypotenuse of course.
The Doctor Posted 25 February 2013 Posted 25 February 2013 The square root of the integrated hypotenuse of course. You can't integrate a hypotenuse - integration is applied to equations (general formula of kn+1/n+1), the hypotenuse is one of the sides of a triangle.

Guest Posted 9 March 2013 Posted 9 March 2013 pretty poor first half. Wales look clearly the better team but they aren't playing well. Scotland kicking well but giving away some terrible penalties and that scrum looks far from solid.
The Doctor Posted 10 March 2013 Posted 10 March 2013 I missed the game yesterday, was busy steampunking - is it worth watching or was it a bit of a crap game?
Finnegan Posted 10 March 2013 Author Posted 10 March 2013 I missed the game yesterday, was busy steampunking - is it worth watching or was it a bit of a crap game? Do I even want to know what steam-punk as a verb entails? It wasn't a great game, in all truth. Unfortunately we've had a few games like this in the Six Nations this year, both teams a little bit too scared of losing to properly open up. Very, very high penalty count, I think they said it was one of the highest - if not the highest - on record in the tournament. Kicking conditions were poor, particularly for Wales in the first half and Scotland in the second leading to a few missed opportunities both ways. Scotland came close to the Welsh try line once or twice but never looked like getting over with any finesse and in the end got stumped by Welsh defense. Fair result, no real controversy or incident. Welsh try was a fairly typical front row's try.
Finnegan Posted 10 March 2013 Author Posted 10 March 2013 As for today, if Italy can keep it within ten points they'll have done us a massive favour. Can either see a bit of English nerves settling in at the prospect of the Slam and them grinding out a shakey 5 - 12 point win or them absolutely smashing the Italians knowing a hefty points hall will effectively see them Champions. Don't see any hope for Italy winning in the slightest but obviously hope I'm wrong. A straight-up title decider with no point-totaling maths next round would be fab.
The Doctor Posted 10 March 2013 Posted 10 March 2013 Do I even want to know what steam-punk as a verb entails? I'm no TBJS, I was just at a steampunk market buying hats
leicsmac Posted 10 March 2013 Posted 10 March 2013 Fantastic finishing of opportunities that half England.
Finnegan Posted 10 March 2013 Author Posted 10 March 2013 Dear England, Please tackle as loosely against Cuthbert, North and Roberts as you have done against Italy and France. Thanks, Wales
FoxyPV Posted 10 March 2013 Posted 10 March 2013 Shakes head at how 6N has imploded. Loving Italy playing well (until they invariably beat us next week)
