FoxyPV Posted 10 February 2013 Posted 10 February 2013 They pushed his arm away first so he dropped the ball. England to win. Ireland are giving away too many penalties.
leicsmac Posted 10 February 2013 Posted 10 February 2013 Territory going to be key here. All been very attritional. Edit: The ref has been very finicky for both sides here. That kind of match I guess.
Guest BlueBrett Posted 10 February 2013 Posted 10 February 2013 Come on now England. 5 mins of discipline and we win the 6 nations and I win my bet
FoxyPV Posted 10 February 2013 Posted 10 February 2013 ****ing shite. Too many mistakes. Too many penalties. Credit to England who put enormous pressure on us all over the pitch.
Finnegan Posted 10 February 2013 Author Posted 10 February 2013 Come on now England. 5 mins of discipline and we win the 6 nations and I win my bet How on Earth do you think you're going to win the championship after going down twenty to twenty five odd points in Cardiff?
pSinatra Posted 10 February 2013 Posted 10 February 2013 Well played England. There was a significant period of momentum for Ireland when they leveled the scores. The crowd were up & Haskell was off the pitch. England dug in & actually regained the lead. Quality performance by the whole team. Youngs, Robshaw & Farell were outstanding.

Finnegan Posted 10 February 2013 Author Posted 10 February 2013 Oh yeah I forgot that that will of course happen In all seriousness, if we re-find our form against Italy and Scotland I am confident we'll beat you at Cardiff. You offer little by the way of try scoring threat and if we show the discipline we did in France we'll snaffle out your points scoring opportunities. I can it being a three way tie between Ireland, England and Wales that comes down to points difference. That is if we don't choke at Murrayfield.

The bookies don't: England 2/7 Ireland 6 Wales 6 The bookies don't get it wrong that often.

With respect, the Six Nations is one of the hardest sporting competitions to predict. It's a tournament of such fine margins. I'm pretty sure we've won three Grand Slams over the last few years without being the favourites once. Any time we are the favourites, we end up third or fourth! Weren't France pre-tournament favourites joint with England this year? Yeah, the bookies are never wrong!!

Can't see us getting much change out of your defence if they play anything like the way they did against the French. I can see you scoring the only try of the game but us winning through pens. The bookies don't get it wrong that often. Can't really say that when we have already seen Italy and Wales beat the French
Guest Posted 10 February 2013 Posted 10 February 2013 France bottom having played Wales at home and Italy lol. only team with no points. And against 2 of the 3 crappest in the tourny Healy is a dirty cvnt. Not exactly been a classic so far, going to be a very low-scoring finish. I thought it should have been a red, but defo a yellow. He was fighting with people all over the pitch too. How on Earth do you think you're going to win the championship after going down twenty to twenty five odd points in Cardiff? Wales could win but then again they'll probably lose to Italy. England are unbeaten after 2. they played the better game in bad conditions. I didn't like the silly penalties they gave away, especially the prop after being warned but we also played solid defence and a clever game for most of the match. I hope that the game against wales is played in good conditions and I think the English backs will run up a cricket score - they are significantly better than the Welsh It'll be interestuing to see what lineup the French play against England. I don't think we'll see Michalak again.
Finnegan Posted 10 February 2013 Author Posted 10 February 2013 We aren't likely to lose to Italy, no. I'd be amazed if that happened. Murrayfield isn't the happiest hunting ground for us though and Johnson would love to beat us.
Guest MattP Posted 11 February 2013 Posted 11 February 2013 I don't see either of them scoring a try. Unless Ireland get a 70 yard breakaway and we miss a couple of tackles. Can see it being decided by the boot and the margin staying pretty much where it is now or maybe going out to 9 You should be betting in running with calls like that, almost spot on.

If England can beat France I think it's pretty much wrapped up, already a pretty mammoth point difference and with at home to Italy after that I think the Irish or Welsh will be looking at a mountain to climb to overturn whatever that difference would be.
