Don't know if I can stay up much longer.

Surely you can't bail out now that it's this exciting? Massive comeback from the 49ers to head into a tense final quarter

Finners - You ****ing traitor. As a lefty pc queer twat you should be supporting the 9ers on account of the fact that they are the first team to openly support LGBT participation / anti-discrimation in NFL

P.S Beyonce is gash

lol

Although it is worth noting that 49ers CB Chris Culliver (who got burned big time tonight by Jacoby Jones) made disparaging remarks towards gays in a radio interview this week, while Ravens LB Brendon Ayanbadejo is one of the NFL's most outspoken advocates of marriage equality for same-sex couples.

Why are they called 'The Ravens' if they play in black & white?

Surely they should be 'The Magpies'

Their home colors are purple and black.

That second half was awesome. There was about 8 of us round my flat, loads of beer, all picked teams, drinking was involved when your team did something shit (not fun for me in the first half being a 49er).

I'm sure the beer and a fairly good understanding of the rules helped but really got into it. I think if you go into it wanting to watch a game of sport then you're doing it wrong.

Yeah, the second half was great entertainment. Just when it looked like the game was over, the Niners found their groove again and Kaepernick came so close to leading what would have easily been the greatest comeback in Super Bowl history.

The power outage couldn't have come at a better time because I think most guys were watching Beyoncé's legs at halftime instead of the usual routine of getting more beer and food and taking a piss. This gave everyone a second chance. lol

Next year's Super Bowl is at the Meadowlands... I'm hoping for two things: 1) that the hometown New York Giants are in the big game, and 2) we get some real winter weather for it. Oh, and I suppose I'd also like to score tickets for it, somehow!

What price a Jets-Giants Superbowl? Other than extremely unlikely, that'd surely be a brilliant story!?

Jets will have to mount something special next season to make it into the post season

Hey Americans out there just had a thought. How come Cary Williams didn't get ejected for shoving the ref during that massive fight? Seen ejections for a lot less, and afterwards he did make some important plays. So I think there was some serious bottling by the refs.

I think he should have been ejected even though I do believe him when he said he didn't realize he was shoving a ref. He was angry and got up from the ground with a head of steam and it seemed to me like the ref just happened to be in his way. Incidental contact or not, though, that was too much contact with an official for my liking and could have easily been an ejection. I suppose the ref either felt it was just part of boys being boys in the melée or he was too scared to make such a big call.

I have seen less warrant ejections, but not too often. Refs usually let fights like that clear out on their own unless someone goes over the edge. I don't keep stats on this, but I feel like personal fouls on players on both teams are the most common outcomes of incidents where there are lots of pushing and shoving between both teams.
