My mates are livid and saying hes walked out over not being allowed to hold talks over the Huddesfield job. Anyone got any more news?

In my eyes hes done a great job at Cov and I think he would have got them up. Bet they are gutted lol

People talk about clubs showing no loyalty to managers but it works both ways.

If this is true Robins is a cvnt, Coventry gave him a chance after he left Barnsley. Why bother signing a 3 year contract if he's going to leave at the first possible chance.

from what ive read he had an agreement in place in that if a club offered a 6 figure sum as compo, he was allowed to talk. I dunno if Huddersfield had tabled that and its caused him to leave after Cov turned down their approach.

Just seen that he has gone. Suprised actually, didn't strike me as the type not to be loyal to a club. Did well with Coventry as well.

Cov will find problems getting a replacement due to the current situation, no manager will be able to achieve what Robins as done there in his short time. Looking at that squad before he arrived they looked relegation bound, now look same squad playing different style football and full of confidence. Cov will go in the different direction now and that's down, they might not go down but will slump down the table. A nice job for Megson i think lol

Yes. More cash and arguably a more talented squad.

and a nicer place to live

What cash? They wont spend the rhodes money.

Not saying they will - but anywhere is bound to have more cash than Coventry. The statement was more to do with them not having a pot to piss in rather than Huddersfield being big spenders.
