theessexfox Posted 20 February 2013 Share Posted 20 February 2013 Kasper - 5 - Couldn't do much with the goals, but awful, AWFUL from any sort of cross De Laet - 6 - Good attacking, perhaps could have helped Drinkwater out with the backpass, good game other than that Morgan - 6 - Fairly solid, tried hard up the pitch in the last few minutes Keane - 5 - Lost everything in the air, outbattled Konchesky - 6 - Solid, got forward well, some poor passing in the second half Marshall - 7 - Our brightest spark in the first half, looked creative and the only one to try and make something happen Drinkwater - 5 - Horrible backpass, we can't afford that, non existent for most of the game James - 6 - Worked reasonably hard Knockaert - 4 - Good early shot, absolutely dreadful from then on Nugent - 4 - Did he play? Wood - 5 - Good goal, lost everything in the air, couldn't hold anything up Gallagher - 6 - Good work rate, played alright, some good corners Dyer - 5 - Didn't notice him King - 5 - See above Kermorgant had a far better game than any of our strikers. Father Ted Posted 20 February 2013 Share Posted 20 February 2013 Schmeichel 4 - Woeful. Could have got down a lot quicker for the first and his positioning was terrible for their second. Everybody raving about his excellent save second half.... AFTER he flapped at a cross and missed it. Needs to buck his ideas up. De Laet 6.5 - I'd say our best player last night. Good defensively and excellent in attack. Morgan 6 - Did what he had to do. Keane 4 - Not good enough. Konchesky 2 - Clueless. Couldn't help but laugh when Haynes left him flat on his arse. Marshall 6 - Great job in covering Kuntch. Drinkwater 5 - Sloppy. James 5 - Anonymous. Knockaert 5 - Did little of note. Nugent 4 - Followed up his woeful display against Huddersfield. Wood 6 - Touch of a rapist, won very few aerial battles but a well taken goal. Looked unfit.
Danno Posted 20 February 2013 Share Posted 20 February 2013 Schmeichel - 4 - Showing us his average ability by letting in 2 soft goals De Laet - 6 - Got forward well but don't know what he was doing for their first Morgan - 6 - our only creative outlet Keane 5 - Dominated by Kermo but worked hard to make up for it Konch 5 - some good attacking play Knockaert 3 - did he even play? Drinkwater 5 - ****ed up for their first , ineffectual throughout James 5 - anonymous Marshall 4 - crap as usual Wood 6 - nice goal but awful first touch Nugent 4 - fed off scraps
dmayne7 Posted 20 February 2013 Share Posted 20 February 2013 I love these ratings so much. A few of you say Drinkwater makes a costly error and offered nothing throughout yet gets a 5 whereas other players have a much more positive description yet get the same or lower rating? If it was King he'd probably average 2 from you guys
SmithyFox12 Posted 20 February 2013 Share Posted 20 February 2013 What game were you watching?! No-one deserves above 7 after that atrocity last night. Schmeichel can't be to fault for either of the goals. He pulled off an absolute worldie of a save to deny Morrison in the second half too. Thought De Laet was one of our most promising players, every time he was attacking he looked dangerous and creative.

The chance created from his own mistake, on top of his dreadful dealing of crosses.
Loggy98 Posted 20 February 2013 Share Posted 20 February 2013 Is it just me who thinks it was de laets fault for their 1st? Wasn't switched on at all it was much closer to him than their player... Saw from SK2 may be wrong.. I also thought that but whoever played the pass was in the wrong

flowwolf Posted 20 February 2013 Share Posted 20 February 2013 Would'nt it be a great idea if the players got paid on a scale of how we the paying mugs rated them per game ?
