acooling08 Posted 19 February 2013 Share Posted 19 February 2013 Kasper - 6 - Could do nothing with the 2 goals, one wonder save at the start of the second half. Good attitude though, captain like. De Laet - 6.5 - His usual... some good forward play but wobbly defensively. Morgan - 6 - Solid as usual. Keane - 6 - See Morgan. Konchesky - 5.5 - Sloppy passing, looked tired. Marshal - 5 - Had little joy on the wing. DD - 3.5 - Poor, what was he thinking for their first?? James - 6 - Got stuck in and seemed to show more effort than most. Knockaert - 1 - TERRIBLE. His pass completion must have have been under 10%. One of the worst games I've ever seen from a Leicester player. Nugent - 3 - Never in the game. Wood - 4.5 - See Nugent, but scored. Overall terrible game. Again.

Leicester Lass Posted 19 February 2013 Share Posted 19 February 2013 Kasper 5 One outstanding save to make up for an error when he came for a ball & got nowhere near it. Way too far off his line for the second, he'll be disappointed he didn't save it. De Laet 6 One brilliant run first half, and an assist too. Steady-ish at the back. Morgan 7 Was our most creative player in all honesty. Gives eveything. The others could learn from him. Keane 6 Dominated by Kermorgant in the air. Lost his way a bit in the last few games. Konchesky 5 Pretty awful in all honesty. Never looked like challenging for a ball in the air. Had a great chance to cut the ball back to Wood with the goal gaping, but fluffed his lines. Marshall 6 Some criminal backing out of challenges. Corners were poor. But overall nowhere near as bad as people are making out. Drinkwater 4 Really poor. What on earth is he doing for the first goal? Unforgivable mistake. James 5 Bit of a passenger first half, as he watched the ball sailing over his head time and time again. Knockaert 4 Nothing came off for him. Not threatening in anyway. Another Frenchman on the pitch absolutely outshone and outperformed him. Nugent 3 Woeful. Too much time moaning. Not performed the last few games. Wood 5 Tidy finish boosts his rating. Other than that his touch was horrendous, and nothing really came off for him. Gallagher 5 Didn't really get into the game that much. Understandable given his lack of game time. Dyer 5 Didn't really threaten them too much. King 5 Little time to influence the game. Barely noticeable.
cal21212121 Posted 19 February 2013 Share Posted 19 February 2013 Kasper - 6 - Not too much wrong, but kept aiming for Nugent De Laet - 5 - Failed to impress going forward and shaky at the back Morgan - 7 - Our only attacking threat and only player capable of making a pass Keane - 5.5 - Did decent, though let the player turn for the 2nd goal Konchesky - 5.5 - Offered more going forward than he did at the back, still achieved nothing. Knockaert - 3 - Couldn't do anything right James - 6 - Busy in the first half, faded in the second Drinkwater - 4.5 - WTF for the first goal, finally demonstrated some urgency in the last 15 minutes, one decent shot, otherwise f*** all Marshall - 5.5 - Still not quite his former self Nugent - 5 - Failed to make an impact, didn't quite link with Wood as he did before Wood - 5.5 - Demonstrated the touch of a baby elephant all game, however proved his finishing qualities Subs did very little, disappointed that we didn't change shape when we brought King on, should have changed to a 4-3-3. Dyer was inaffective as he had 2 on him at all times and Gally pussied out of the shot on the edge of the area when Drinkwater passed to him

kingfox Posted 19 February 2013 Share Posted 19 February 2013 Schmeichel 6 - Class save from Morrison, other things ok De Laet 6 - Blame Drinky all you like, he was sleeping again and had the cheek to put his hand out, good performance going forward though Morgan 6 - Ok I suppose, our best defender by far tonight Keane 4 - Been playing well, but Kermorgant had his pants down tonight, poor performance Konchesky 5 - Ok going forward, defensively he was a bit shabby though, he is getting pretty lightweight Knockaert 3 - Absolutely woeful, has been so shit in the last two games Drinkwater 6 - Can blame the first goal on him, but I thought apart from that pass, he was actually one of our more decent players tonight James 5 - Not in the game at all much, average display Marshall 5 - Crossing was very good first half, from difficult positions, then went down hill in the second Nugent 5 - Only had a ten minute spell where he actually played well Wood 6 - Poor first half, better in the second, held it up better and got the goal Subs - All
Adster Posted 19 February 2013 Share Posted 19 February 2013 Keane was awful. I know he's only young but he got dominated by Yann today and dominated by Alan fookin Lee last game again Hudds in the air. It's simply not good enough and eventually it will cost us. I'd take him out for next game.

Bertie Posted 19 February 2013 Share Posted 19 February 2013 Schmeichel 5 thought both goals were down to him should stop blaming his defenders for his mistakes De late 5 ok Morgan 6 sloppy passing Keane 5 to laid back Konchesky 6 seem to not got much credit most of the balls into the box come from him Knockaert 3 doesn't get involed when the going gets tough DD 5 nothing special James 4 game passed him by Marshall 6 one of his better games of late should try and pass a easy ball instead of taking every one on Nugent 4 nothing seemed to go his way still works hard Woods 5 would have been 4 but scored needs more games 3 doesn't get involved when the going gets tough
Dickov22 Posted 19 February 2013 Share Posted 19 February 2013 Kasper 6. Too far off his line for the 2nd goal. De Laet 5. One great run in the first half, otherwise poor Morgan 7. Gives everything Keane 6. Did ok, Kermogant beat him in the air all night, but then again, he beats everyone in the air Konchesky 6 did ok Marshall 6.5 I thought he was our best player first half put in some great balls on his left foot. Surprised he was subbed Drinkwater 5.5 Cost us James 6. Did his job nothing spectacular Knockaert 5. They worked him out, he had no room, back to his old self of trying to do too much in the wrong areas Nugent 5. Poor run at the moment but don't doubt his quality Wood 6.5 Great finish for the goal, had a better second half.
Adster Posted 19 February 2013 Share Posted 19 February 2013 Lay off the lad, its not all down to him that we have had a bad run recently. Whilst you're correct. Unfortunately my point still stands. I rate the lad that's for sure, but he's not been good enough recently. I think Charlton pinpointed this weakness in Keane perfectly, hence why Kermorgant stuck too him like glue on Charlton goal kicks and long balls. Jimmy Posted 19 February 2013 Share Posted 19 February 2013 Is it just me who thinks it was de laets fault for their 1st? Wasn't switched on at all it was much closer to him than their player... Saw from SK2 may be wrong.. no as De Laet wasn't expecting Drinkwater to play such a stupid pass instead of clearing it, funny though, how given DD is a favourite player, how people are looking to blame someone else. Schmeichel 7 RDL 6 Morgan 5 should of taken Kermorgant off of Keane Keane 5 Konchesky 4 Knockaert 4 Drinkwater 1, no excuses, my 8 year old nephew would know not to make that pass so how the hell doesn't a professional? James 5 Marshall 3 pussed out of more tackles then King or Gally ever have, the studs up 1s I can understand but he even did it when players were trying to toe the ball away, go away and get your head together Nugent 3 you are playing upfront, STAY THERE and support Wood Wood 6 fed on scraps buty managed to score still Gally 6 looked full of desire and energy and changed the game Dyer 5 King on too late to make a difference
Bert Posted 19 February 2013 Share Posted 19 February 2013 Kasper 5 - at fault for the second, too far off his line. Nearly cost us another coming for a ball that he shouldn't have done. RDL 6 - not sure how he was at fault for our first, I mean balls get played back into the box by his own player all the time. One good attacking run and an assist. Konch 5 - poor. Glorious chance to create a goal but fooked his pass up. Morgan 7 - standard. Keane 6 - dominated in the air but gave his all. Marshall 5 - did ok but bottled too many challenges. Knocky 4 - one shot otherwise not in the game. Drinky 4 - poor, at fault for their first. James 5 - hustle and bustle without doing much right or wrong. Nuge 5 - well off the pace. Wood 5 - scored but looked unfit. Poor touch at times. Gally 6 - at least he looked up for it, much more than most others. Dyer 5 - what did he do? King 5 - see dyer. Guest ttfn Posted 19 February 2013 Share Posted 19 February 2013 Schmeichel 5 - Crap positioning for their second. De Laet 6 - Provided an outlet going forward, solid enough in defence. Morgan 7 - Standard Wes. Keane 4 - Kermorgant pulled his pants down. Konchesky 5 - Meh. Knockaert 3 - Crap. Drinkwater 2.5 - Crapper. Woeful mistake for their first goal. James 4 - Non-entity. Marshall 6 - The only person who ever looked like creating anything. Nugent 3 - Spent most of the game looking like he was playing a different sport. Wood 5 - Poor touch throughout, excellent finish. Kermorgant was man of the match by an absolute mile. Embarrassing.
Guest ttfn Posted 19 February 2013 Share Posted 19 February 2013 Morgan 5 should of taken Kermorgant off of Keane I was of this opinion during the game, but really if you play a left/right centre back pairing rather than a specific man-marking job (we always do the former) you can't really switch around half-way through. Kermorgant cleverly went and sat on Keane knowing that Morgan couldn't commit as he'd have left a big hole and we'd have had 2 players going for the same ball. Alf Bentley Posted 20 February 2013 Share Posted 20 February 2013 Schmeichel 6.5 Would be harsh to blame him for their brilliant 2nd; good distribution De Laet 6.5 OK defensively, 1 or 2 good overlapping runs Morgan 6.5 Sound Keane 6 A little lacking in physicality Konch 6 Passable, worked hard Marshall 5 Seriously short of confidence; doesn't want to dribble or shoot James 5 Mixed - but his simple style only works if Drinkwater is a lot more creative than that Drinky 3 Sluggish, unimaginative & lacking in penetration - plus a hideous & costly error Knocky 4 Some nice touches, but gave it to a red shirt more often than a blue one; worst game for us Nugent 5 Worked hard but Charlton closed him down very well - got the impression they targeted him Wood 7 MoM; Very rusty 1st half, much better 2nd - almost won it for us on his own Dyer 6.5 Improved things somewhat & combined well with others down left Gally 6 Tidy effort King N/A OK, but should have come on earlier

Corky Posted 20 February 2013 Share Posted 20 February 2013 Schmeichel- 6 (Could he have done better with the second? Tried to play it short from the back) De Laet- 7 (Our best outfield player. Made some dangerous runs) Morgan- 6 (Ok) Keane- 5 (Beaten too often by Kermorgant) Konchesky- 6 (Not bad) Knockaert- 5 (Didn't impact on the game enough) Drinkwater- 4 (What was he thinking of? Passed it backwards too much thereafter) James- 5 (Little impact) Marshall- 4 (One shot, little else) Nugent- 5 (Very off the pace) Wood- 6 (Extra point for his goal) Subs- Gallagher- 6 (He tried to get things going) Dyer- 4 (No influence really) King- N/A (Not enough time to impact)
foxesfan1989 Posted 20 February 2013 Share Posted 20 February 2013 Kasp - 6.5 - Didn't do much wrong, showed 100x more passion than the rest. De Laet - 7 - Thought he was one of the better players on the pitch, and THAT run! Morgan - 6.5 - Same as usual Keane - 5 - Thought he was quite poor at times, looked nervous. Konch - 4 - Pretty shocking performance, no real energy, out of position a lot. Knocky - 4 - His worst game for us. Heavily marked yes but no first touch at all. James - 5.5 - Anonymous Drinky - 5 - Huge mistake for the first goal, not involved a lot. Marshall - 5 - Poor touch, inability to beat men Nugent - 5.5 - Didn't do much wrong, was marked out of the game. Had 3 men on him all the time Wood - 5.5 - Same as Nugent, his touch was very poor but he got the goal I guess.
