Two footed tackle, and kicking the ball away just a few seconds before. The same thing happen with karl henry a couple a months ago. Sick and tired of these poor decisions made by these refs, and its costing us. Morgan was sent off (correctly) for denying a goal scoring opportunity. The tackle on schlupp could have done some serious damage. How is denyng a goal a more deserved red than hurting a player. Just ridiculous Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

StanSP Posted 29 March 2013 Share Posted 29 March 2013 It wasn't two-footed, it was just a dangerous 1-footed, studs-up tackle nowhere near the ball on Schlupp's ankle. I'm more frustrated that the ref didn't book him for kicking the ball away, which would have led to Trotter either not making the tackle or being sent off if he did. That's what pisses me off. Morgan's was a red no problems with that however Trotter could easily have got a straight red and 30 seconds before either a tackle from behind or kicking the ball away should have been a yellow. Chaplow also went straight through the man and again got a yellow within a minute. We lost end of but the ref made a couple of major mistakes so he had a poor game.
